Front lady was cool but the forklift operator was a complete jerk. seriously should be fired

Good selection of cars/parts to choose from. Very friendly and helpful staff as well.

Had great experience. Needed just some floor mats for my grandson's 2013 Sentra. Only cost $2 to get in the yard and they gave me a list of 3 Sentra's in the yard with their location. They were easy to find and I found a real nice set of floor mats and all 4 only cost $20 total. The cashier was very friendly and helpfull. I strongly recommend Grandpa Johns for the do-it-yourself leople but would also recommend wearing boots though. With the melting snow it was wet.

Needed to replace one of my spark plug tube nuts that hold on my valve cover after over torqueing it and breaking it... anyway after I came out of the yard with 2 of them I showed them to the cashier and she said 'just take it' or something like that. I was thrilled because I was going to have to pay like 20 something dollars for this part as a special order and she just gave em to me for free! *update* I went there again a few months back to look for an exhaust component for my 1998-2001 Camry model. Even though that section is about as ideal of a location as it gets, I spent probably close to two hours wandering around and back tracking as I didn't initially search in a strategic way, foolishly thinking I would easily be able to spot my vehicle, but there are a few vehicles of other makes and years that look similar (especially when there isn't much left of them). I couldn't help but notice that when I was browsing google maps and coming upon their yard that it would have been monumentally helpful if they were able to take aerial drone shots of the yard highlighting where the specific model vehicle that I was looking for was. Just a thought, it could be much more inviting to your customers to use your yard as a resource as in my experience it has been a bit of a hassle to find my vehicle by visual recognition alone at times, and is also, admittedly, something I take into consideration on whether to use the yard or not. "Is it worth me save maybe $50 to wonder around the yard for a couple hours and possibly still not even find what I was looking for, when I could just pay for it new and have it shipped to me directly, hassle free?"

I've had nothing but a great experience at Grandpa John's. Very helpful and totally organized. 👌
- JJess Wampler
So much to pick through! Was able to find my piece easily and saved over $600 that I was quoted at the dealer!! Customer service was very nice and helpful as this was my first time at a salvage yard. Will definitely recommend and return!

It's a self-serve yard, $2 entry fee. But their website let's you either search parts, or see what vehicles are on the lot. They were kind enough to check to see if the part I needed was on the vehicle before I drove up. Everything I've bought there has been really reasonable, and they work with you based on condition. They even get some interesting stuff like Audi, Bmw, and Mercedes parts.

I would definitely not go here I have a old minivan that they wouldn’t take because it had high mileage and they didn’t believe the mileage on the vehicle hence the reason why I’m trying to scrape my car is because it has high mileage and then hang up on me because they don’t want to purchase a vehicle with high miles for scrap. Very terrible customer service and very terrible human beings. Starting to think that there is a lot more wrong with the world.

Called ahead to verify open hours. I showed up at 4:50 to the yard and was told they were closed. I asked where I can see updated hours in the future as the website and Google state close at 6pm and you need to arrive at at least 5:30 to enter the yard. Person at counter was extremely condescending and essentially said they close when they want. Honestly was just trying to ask for my next trip up as I drove from Appleton. Not sure what the issue was here, definitely hesitant to come back.

I went there looking for car parts for my 2000 chevy cavalier recently very friendly & helpful staff although the yard was very mucky! Lots of puddles & mud. boots or not it was treacherous! They could put straw down to soak up water on the ground, its a mudhole in the spring.
- AAndrue Kaster
The workers are horrible and since when did you have to be 18. There are kids out there with there own vehicles that need parts just let kids 16 and older in. This is so ridiculous.
- PPeter Swanson
Grandpa John’s is by far my favorite place to go for used parts . I’ve always been treated fairly, and I think that the yard is set up very well for you to find the car you need to pull the parts off of. I always have an adventure when I go. Very reasonable prices too!
- JJosh Diedrich
The guy at the counter was hostile for no reason, I called before hand to ask if they had my vehicle they said yes I got there and they said we don’t have it. They also have a policy on not allowing people under the age of 18 in the yard that they could have told me on the phone but I had to waste time just to get nothing
- CChris Beekman
Very friendly people, organized yard, and if I cant find what I need I wait a few months and it seems like the stock is resupplied. It's great for odds and ends that are expensive or hard to find. A great place to poke around before you hit the parts store.

Sold a wrecked car and had a very pleasant and efficient experience. I'd recommend them for parts and good customer service. Very friendly!

I'm very disappointed in the customer service I've received from this establishment. I purchased a radiator for a '95 Chevy Corsica and brought it to automotive shop for installation. The shop informed me that the radiator I brought them was defective. I contacted Grandpa John's and the guy was surprisingly very rude and informed me that I was sol.. in those exact words. They will no longer receive my business nor will they from my friends and family. Please be careful when you do business with these type of places, check for warranty and read the fine print. Thank you. - Erica

Horrible service. Dishonest pricing. The tire said $44, but the woman charged us $49. When I brought this up, she blamed environmental fees and taxes. Those fees and taxes were added on after the $49 but she kept arguing. I gave up and left and will never be back.

Very helpful, totally organized, friendly. I'll always go there first. Called a competitor who gruffly said "call your dealer". Not Grampa John's, they were wonderful, be sure not to wear sandals, cuz shoes are the rules.
- JJason Glasheen
This place was horrible. I called to see if they had a part I was looking for, they told me they had 15. I made a two hour drive to get there, paid $3 per person to go into their yard, to find out that they had ZERO headlight assemblies I was looking for. When I talked with the counter guy he told me they didn't take inventory of parts and didn't know why anyone would tell me they had 15. Next time I will drive the extra distance to go to Gibsons first!
- DDon V
Reasonable prices, they do not always have what I am looking for, but hey, supply and demand, if you can't find it here this week, check back in a week or so since their inventory is constantly changing, My biggest complaint would be that I don't live closer to it, 45 minute drive, but always well worth the trip
- JJulie Bouressa
I'm not a mechanic by any means but have needed parts for my son's car cheap. The people there couldn't be nicer and more helpful. Huge selection.
- BBrandon Strickland
Prices are shockingly low. If you like pulling parts from junk cars it can be a lot of fun. I pulled all sorts of parts for my car and the price was less than I would've spent on one part from Amazon.
- JJeremy Joseph
Very friendly and great organization of the yard. Thank you for a great experience. The only thing I would suggest is to make sure the trunks are all popped and easily accessible for when people steal the keys.
- hholly stahl
Let me just say, don't believe what they say. Their people will steal you blind, lock your vehicles and watch your back. Asked them to rectify it, but didn't even get a response.
- NNathan StJohn
Grandpa John's always has some kind of buried treasure for my vehicle just waiting to be unearthed from the rubble! The staff is very friendly, the prices are more than fair, and they give you a map of the salvage yard before you even step foot into it so you know exactly where to look for the parts that you need! Thanks guys, you've earned my business once again!! 👍👍
- SShane Brion
Love being able to out to the yard and pull my own part! Very organized and I usually end up walking out buying more than what I came in for! Just like a kid in a candy store!
- CCraig Sampo
This place is such a waste of time. Any part that you could use was taken by the salvage yard next door. On top of that, their website states in price list that they have fuel pumps. Go there and pay the yard fee to get in only to find out that what their web site says they have they place next door takes out. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY.
