I had some large steel items to get rid of, but I had never been to Mid City so I had no clue on what to expect. Fortunately, the entire staff was extremely friendly and helpful, from the guy on the phone, to the guys in the both and grounds. They took their time to explain the routine, and even helped me unload two very heavy items from my truck. Their website is also very informative and helpful. This was a great experience all around and I highly recommend Mid City Scrap.

Horrible, experience. These guys just say go there and there. I asked them if they buy the fridge and they say no. Also they do not guide you with the process. I returned to the facilities few mins before to get the doors of my old fridge and they mentioned no because they are scrapping already. Then they referred to eastside recycling in RI instead to do it earlier.

Brought some clean and dirty copper there in some light and thin plastic bins. After I took off I realized that they marked the Tare on the trash bins as 20lbs and 19lbs. They probably weight 3lbs at most lost out on $125 It all depends on who you get at the yard, there’s a younger guy that works there that’s great to work with. The rest rip you off to the point that you would think it’s their own money
