Courteous people inside and out. They are willing to help you to a point, understandably. This is a salvage yard, so don't go here expecting them to do a full service beyond providing a part, you pay, and have a nice day. You need to know what you're getting when you deal with salvage yards and set you set your expectations appropriately. You can get a good deal here, too.

I'm not big on scrap metal recycling but, when I do need to drop off some metal, I've been to way better ran facilities than this. For one, there's zero direction at all when entering this place for the first time. If you're lucky, you'll catch an employee near the entrance who might give you the bare minimum. Which is to drive over the scale and wait until the number it's reading out goes green. Overall though, how dare you not know this process with zero direction? He'll be sure to let you know how aggravating you are by throwing his arms up repeatedly and getting immediately exasperated with you for not knowing how their very specific, yet very chaotic process works. Oh, wait. Those numbers are on a digital readout on the wall of the business to your far left. A detail they don't bother to post anywhere. Okay, I got the green light so where do you want this? That's not clear either. Everywhere I've been usually has employees sorting out very specific metal to very specific piles. For instance, they're not just gonna toss copper on to a pile of auto scrap. Why? Because, if you're an accurate and professional operation, you need to account for EXACTLY the kind of metal you're paying for. What's to stop me from going back to the window and saying I just dropped off 300 lbs. of copper when I just threw scrap steel in a random pile? Nothing, apparently, save a chance encounter with an employee in the yard who sees me dropping off. There's also not a roundabout. Which is very, very interesting. This makes the flow down right awful. Got a big trailer? Great, you're gonna have to turn in a potentially tight corner and hope you don't jack knife to go back through over the same scale you weighed in on. There's zero direction, little control, and no flow at all to the traffic in and out. Instead of posting big signs that say "not responsible for damage to vehicles" - why not just manage the lot in a way that actively mitigates that risk and reduce your liability and the frustrations of your customers?

I have been selling scrap metal to them for a few years. It is always been quick easy and they have been very nice and even helped move some stuff if needed. I had a poor experience with another metal recycler in the area cheating me on some prices and actually pass them on the way to these guys.
