I called them Friday to verify if they had some parts, they said they did. I called them Monday morning before making the 6 hour drive to their location to make sure they had the parts, they said they did. Lo and behold I show up and not a single part there. Terrible place, liars, dishonest people.

They said $20-$50 for used tires I drove 30 minutes to go out to look for this tire and came to cash out and they try to charge 100 for the used tire and there tire machine didn't work so rim was still on and try to make me pay for a deposit on the rim alone for $100 so $200.00 for 1 tire and 1 rim I didn't need I wouldn't go to any TEX-MEX SALVAGE YARDS.. BE CARFUL

Sold me the wrong part the first time after talking to them 3 times before driving hour an half the first time.. talked to them 4 times the next day asking if they had the right part.. swore they had it an put hands on the part, it's here waiting.. got no part here now.. sending me to a different location

I stopped by Tex Mex today there were two guys in there ,one was on the phone helping a customer the other was on his phone texting and he looked up when he looked up then look back down ,about 3 minutes later he directed me to the gentleman. In the back he got his car Jack never acknowledged me I would never suggest this place to anyone of color they ignore you the customer service is not good at all I had to give it one star just to give this review but they get a zero from me. Nice building though the outside looks better than the inside customer service zero

Called asked for a compressor told me yes they had it , drove 1hr to pick up just to find out they never had it. Nobody knows who told me they had it, very sketchy place. Only take cash. No recipes given either. Buy at your own risk

Do not go to this place man some Guy named Luis is the one ho sold me a used Motor 6.0 he told me it was good. i turn it on on my truck the crankshaft was messed up rod bearings were not good i had to pay a mechanic to fix it he made me waste more money and Luis he dint want to give me my money back or exchange the motor the day i went to do the purchase he was come get the motor my boos is not here i can give you a better deal DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE

Oh man I have gotten 2 motors from them, both times I felt like the were honest and was treated with respect. I got a 30 day guarantee one of the motors is still in a Durango I still have and drive everyday. I'm now looking for more parts and they are the first place I turn. It's a salvage yard! You just have to watch before you buy.

Big Cat Auto Salvage referred me to Tex-Mex to find a replacement passenger side tail light for my truck. When I called Tex-Mex, they told me they had a tail light but it was LED so it would be more expensive than what I was looking for. I told them that I would take the light and that I'd be on my way to pick it up. I bought the light for $108, went home and tried to switch it out with my broken one but soon realized that I could not switch it out since it was designed differently. Called Tex-Mex to let them know that the light would not fit and was told to bring it back for a refund. When I brought the light back, two of the employees were kind enough to take the time out to see if they could get the light replaced. I am grateful to the two employees who took time out to switch the tail light for me and got it working. Overall, the $108 that I paid for the light and its installation (which they didn't have to do) was worth the service altogether. I recommend Tex-Mex and would definitely do business with them again and also refer others to Tex-Mex!!

Came in for 4.6L Trition V8 engine and turns out, engine was malfunctioned. I had 2 motor swaps within this place and same issue occurred. Tex-Mex refused to refund my money. I want my money and take my malfunctioning engine back! I will file a lien against them. "I don't recommend this place to anyone"

If you like wasting time and money this is the place to go to! I called them to see if they've got two struts for my car. They said yes so I drove across town, turned out they only have one left not two. They found another junk yard that supposedly have another strut I needed so I purchased one strut from tex mex and again drove across town to another junk yard. Turned out they don't have the strut that I needed. I went ahead and purchased one brand new strut. I had the junk yard strut and a brand new strut installed by a professional mechanic. The next morning on my way to work my car started making a loud knocking noise. The strut from the junk yard broke off. Turned out they gave me the wrong part! Missed another day of work and on top of that I get to pay towing fees and I had to get alignment redone AGAIN! Not a happy camper here.

Let me start by saying this without seeming rude..if your skin color is any shade lighter than brown or darker please save yourself the hassle....its the same thing at alot of these places "Yes we have it..go in the back and talk to Benito"..I was looking for a fuel line and told them im driving 45 minutes away i need to make sure you have it..they said yes...spent 30 minutes looking for BENITO in the back,when i finally did find him he acted as if i was bothering him...now i would understand if i was a haggler looking for a cheaper price or asking for free parts but im a mechanic,i understand the value of certain parts...he just shrugged me me off and said "No we dont have it" and immediatley went back to what he was doing...no explanation whatsover...so 90 minutes for the round trip and 30 minutes for the HORRIBLE SERVICE...so thats 2 hours down the drain (120 dollars in company time) and possibly received a bad review for the long wait...if you live close and got alot of time to waste then maybe just maybe...but if your job relies on places like this dont do it....Thank You Benito

Came in for a window switch and was told to look for the attendant, when I went to look for him never found him, also was recommend by All American Auto Salvage to look for an A/C compressor that they had for $75.00 used, the guy at Texas mex wanted $100 I told him all American Auto Salvage had it for $75 but he had an attitude so l left and bought what I needed at ALL AMERICAN AUTO SALVAGE, That's the place to go because there not there to rob customers, there there to make money and help there customers.
