I bought a used engine with a 6mo. warranty. This particular engine is notorious for cracking the heads. So my mechanic tore the engine apart and found not only cracked heads but rod bearings that were pitted and down to copper. So I called G&R and asked if I put the engine back together if I could get a refund. They asked me why I tore it apart so I explained the problem these engines had with the heads and I wanted tho make sure they weren't cracked. They told me because my mechanic tore it apart it was my problem and I would get no refund. I would never consider going to these people ever again.
