We have been taking our recycling here for over 10 yrs. I noticed that their communication and customer service has gone down the last few years though. Since it had been awhile, I called ahead of time to confirm the address before arriving this weekend. The lady who answered, had to put me on hold as she did not know! I had a trunk full, which included 50+ large plastic bottles, some scraps of copper & other metal. I was told 50 bottles would be counted at 10 cents each on the phone, prior to arriving & then again upon arriving. All other items would be weighed. This was not the case as the gentlemen checking me out did not weigh the scrap items and did not include the bottles I spent the time to count out...Total was $1.98 vs about $10+...

Easy drive through and they bring out big bins with their forklift for heavy loads of scrap.

Guys are very courteous, The reason they weigh the barrels twice is because they don't have the barrel's weight on the side like other places. ( To which I've always been kinda leery about the real can's weight ) I always weigh my cans at home before going there. And have my calculator ready when they are actually weighing the barrels, I calculate the total by subtracting the second weighing from the initial weight. I make sure the guys see me doing that. They have never said a thing. The total always comes out within a pound or so. I am very happy to do business with them.
