My car was impounded by this tow company, went the following day to get some paperwork out of the car to get a release from the sheriff. I saw power tools in their cases on the passenger floor when I opened the glove box to get the paperwork out so when I came back to pick up my car all my tools were gone, since I had no way to prove any of my tools were in there took a $4,000 loss. Don't let this happen to you take a video of your stuff before you walk away if you are getting paperwork from your car because these people have no shame and hopefully won't steal your stuff since they are all ready charging you a bunch of money to get your car back

My sister car was stolen. She wasn’t notified but a few days later. The sheriff dept. was closed for the Holiday. The car sit in Freedoms impound lot till she went to look at the car. It was chopped beyond repair. These clowns wanted 400 for impound and 240 dollars for a one mile town. My sister gave them the car and pink slip. She paid the tow. She doesn’t have money to pay the rent barely getting by. This is rather over priced foe a tow. These clowns are not the only ones. Tow companies take advantage of people who cars are stolen. I told her giving the car was enough payment. But they bleed people dry in these situations. They don’t car. The sheriff dept. was very kind and waved there fee. My last tow cost 80 dollars for a mile . Just amazing these clowns charge so much to to a mile. Never used this tow company. Unfortunately Stockton is crime capital run by dumbo rats who allow for crime out of control and homeless . I grew up in Stockton years ago it was a great place to live but not anymore.

My car was totaled, and I had to get my personal belongings out at this tow yard. My husband had lost his wedding ring in the car a while back, so that was the most important thing we needed to find before our car insurance company took over ownership. Upon check-in at Freedom Tow, the guy at the window pulled out a white envelop and inside was my husband's ring! He knew it was something of value and made sure it was handed straight to us. Such a great guy and amazing employee! All employees that helped us out were very nice.
