AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!! I had an incredibly disappointing experience at California Auto Center in Millbrae. I purchased their alignment and oil change special through Groupon, and called ahead to confirm that my truck on which I had installed new suspension components would be fully aligned to factory specs. They gave no mention of extra fees or issues. What fine print said that it was valid from the 5 quarts in my vehicle only takes 4.5 so he only added more fees out of spite. When I arrived after driving from San Jose, I was met with aggressive and condescending treatment. The owner insisted I’d need special parts, and refused to do the alignment properly, despite my explanation and the adjustability of the parts. He became more hostile, adding surprise $100 fees for both services, which contradicted the terms I had confirmed and read. Ultimately, they refused to perform the services, reversed my truck out, and I left. This shop treated me with disrespect and deception. I am reporting them to the Bureau of Automotive Repair. Avoid this place at all costs they are dishonest and unprofessional.

The owner Paul is friendly and easy to communicate with, as is the younger Asian man at the front desk. I was a little concerned after reading recent reviews before my visit, but it turned out fine. I did car battery replacement and tire rotation. The price is not the best but acceptable, might come back for more sophisticated work later

They played with my tire because the stem was broken and wanted to charge me $60 to fix it when another tire shop would do it for free. You got service there earlier but after they were playing with my tire, my tire was flat and they didn’t even offered to fill up my tire. I had to call AAA to help me just to fill up my tire at this shop. Absolutely crazy they can’t even do something as simple as filling my tire up or letting me fill my tire up after I paid them for other service. Do not recommend them just because of this. They do not care for their customers.
