Friendly staff but they definitely short you, I miss the old place on valley center ave :( 1 star for price 4.5 stars for service (although many people say otherwise so beware)

As you can see from the picture, this recycling center is located right next to a wooded area. When I went there, a group of transients happened to be sitting in that wooded area very close to where I went to separate my bottles and cans. No big deal on that as it's LA County. Then one who was sitting up pulled out what looked and sounded like an Airsoft pistol and started firing it straight ahead while another one chuckled. I reported this to the young lady who was working here and she seemed unfazed. Absolute insanity!

One and done for me , not only do they rip you off by putting an empty bottle water under the scale to so you don't get paid the correct amount but also a hang out for a group of guys getting high just 10 feet away ?
