Very poor customer service. My brother got in an accident. The police had called a tow company before my brother got a hold of my insurance company for a tow. The guy was rude pointed to his truck and said call this number to pay. I told him I’m not paying anything I’m on the phone with my tow company that would be paid for, before I could sign and finish my call with the insurance and before talking to his “manager” some lady. They had already hooked up my brothers car and said there would be a hook up fee. They wanted to tow it from redwood hwy to my house off of cloverlawn for $650. I told them they weren’t legally allowed to hook up to my car without my permission. Super rude and told me I was in the wrong. And told it anyways.

My sister in law was in a wreck and was taken to the hospital. Officers called this towing company to get the car. When we went to see about the car the owner was rude. We asked if we could get some personal belongings out of the car. She said no. Then was mocking us about her taking the money out of the car. Second time same thing was met very rudly. She had said if we brought money down she would let us get belongings out of the car. She said she would get what she wants for my sister in law. Then tried to bully us. After I stated wjat laws and rights were she called the cops and wouldn't let us back on the property. Very poor customer service. I demanded nothing. She tried to pay you like agreed and then you changed it when we got there. I said 2 sentences to you besides there was no reason to be rude. First you told me 850 on the phone the day after it was towed. Then your husband said 650. Insurance never pays to tow. They pay it back. And we were charged for clean up even though I had to go pick up car parts and personal belongings and glass everywhere. The lady with the truck is right crooks!!

I don't normally write reviews, but I had a terrible experience with All Star Towing. My Mom had a medical emergency on I-5 S and was taken to the hospital via ambulance, and her car was towed by them. They charged $900.00 just to pull it off the freeway and park it in a safer location. The woman I spoke to on the phone at All Star Towing was really rude and did not want to repeat herself as my fiance had already talked to her, and it was pretty clear they were lying on the phone. My Mom's car insurance company was pretty baffled by the tow company and were puzzled why the tow company would charge so much just to just pull it off the freeway to a safer side street. The tow company later claimed the car was actually at their facility. It kind of seems like this company banks on taking advantage of people in distress and banks on insurance companies paying the absurd tow bill. It's too bad there are not more regulations to protect consumers from tow companies from charging absurd amounts. I understand you need to make your money, but please don't take advantage of people... All Star Towing just added to the stress of the whole situation to help my Mom out.
