This year I purchased about 7 yards of garden soil which was supposed to be a 50/50 mix of soil and compost delivered. My garden bed with this soil has very dwarfed and yellow to brown plants even though I have amended this soil pretty heavily. Weeds barely grow in this really acidic lifeless soil. I now have a useless pile of dirt that pretty much is land fill. This is the second time this has happened to me. The last time this happened was two years ago they told me they would give me some compost but I had to come and get it. So I did. It took all summer and the next winter to adjust the soil so that stuff grows. I would not recommend using their 50/50 mix!
