Pinnacles National Park is a very cool place to visit and one I return to a few times each year. The hikes are excellent, and it’s incredibly impressive to see the California condors here—every visit feels different. On one hike, a condor passed within about three feet of us, which was unforgettable. Bring lunch to enjoy at the top, and be sure to pack out your trash back to the parking area. There are plenty of bathrooms throughout the park, which makes the visit even more convenient.

Absolutely amazing park! Bring hiking poles, head lamps, lots of water, snacks, and food. I could spend several days here. We had absolutely perfect weather. We visited on the West side. Would definitely NOT want to come here in the summer! It would be way too hot!

We went to the West entrance. As we pulled in the gift shop was closed. The young Ranger was walking to his car and we asked him a few questions about the park. He was such a pleasant young man full of information and so helpful. We expressed dissapointment that the gift shop closed. He said come with me. He reopened the shop, and we bought shirts and gifts. An absolutely fine young man, l apologize that l can't remember his name, but he was a local resident. The trails at the Pinnacles were excellent and the landscape gorgeous. We'll worth the trip!
