1st time there, tin shred has a decent price but every employee I came across was rude. Will not be going there again just due to the experience I had.

I haven't been here, but this is the place I'll be trying once I gather stuff up from around the farm, the reason for my choice is due to CMC taking the time to respond to people's reviews,it means they actually read the reviews to see how they are doing, not ignoring folks as most businesses,

I have never scraped metal before the man in back was soo helpful helping me sort..(never done this before). Amy up front, She was so nice and informative! I even got a gift card for my first visit. I highly recommend CMC recycling!!! I walked away with almost 400 dollars.

They have a large selection of vehicles but the staff and customer service is horrible. Employees are rude and act like your an inconvenience to them, yet their standard response is how customer service is their top priority...yeah, right.Also the staff is uneducated for the job, they don't know what the parts are and try to charge unreasonable prices for something calling it something else. We tried to buy a simple single side headlight harness and the girl at the check out kept saying it was an engine harness and charges $60 some dollars. After wasting 3 hours and paying to get in, walking around to find the vehicle, pulling the part and trying to explain what it was; we left with nothing and wasted $3.I do NOT plan on returning, there are other places right up the road by that have better customer service and know what they are doing.Don't waste your time going here unless you have absolutely no other option, even eBay is cheaper!

Tried goingnthere last Friday but they closed early. Cashier tried telling me they closed at 4pm. I said, I know but it isnt 4pm & your gate has been locked for a long time and she had no answer but also no help. Looks like they care more about getting drunk on Friday night then conducting business. Plenty of other centers in town that appreciate the opportunity to earn money.

Easy way to make some money off scrap. It was super easy, I drove up, gave them my info then unloaded some cast iron bathroom stuff and they gave me cash for it.

This place is a rip-off.....their scale is not accurate and only reflects about 2/3 of the true weight. Service was slow, the lady behind window was rude and the scale is off....WAY OFF. If you like getting hosed and taken advantage of this is the place to go. If consumer affairs can check to be sure gas pumps are accurate why can't someone check CMC's scales and fine them $50,000 dollars for ripping everyone off? Take my advice....go somewhere else....anywhere else.

It's been a long time since I've been out there but everything went smooth they really need some business so if you have any strap or precious metals make you a little extra cash
