Chris and Stan were extremely professional and used their welding table to copy an angle on a turbo manifold for me from the old to new one so it perfectly fit in the car. They definitely have the equipment, tools and knowledge to do almost anything needed. Would highly recommend them for any car needs.

We were just starting a long drive home from the beach when my van began behaving badly! We drove slowly to JDM. Larry, Chris, and Stan gave us their immediate and full attention. They read the codes but of course, after I shut the van off and Chris turned it back on, it behaved perfectly. 😒 They explained what the code/problem could be caused by and what to do next time it happens. My husband and I were so impressed by their knowledge, honesty, and friendliness! If we lived in their area, these guys would be our go-to for auto needs! I highly recommend them!

My wife and I had started on a trip with our 1995 motor home traveling with two other campers, about 150 miles into our trip my engine started acting up and finally coasted in to an college parking lot in Newbern. My two friends and I started searching for the problem, found some bad vacuum hoses and replaced them but that did not help. A lovely young lady at the auto parts store gave me a number to call if I needed more help. I talked with Chris at JDM Automotive & Recycling and explained what it was doing, even though this camper way be older than he is he was able to diagnose the problem on the phone and even sent me a picture of the item which made it easy to find and replace thanks again from a happy camper

***Marines need to come here*** Chris, his father Larry and the rest of the mechanics, will take amazing care of you guys. They are very communicative, respectful with your vehicle and personals inside. (Asked permission before searching for my lug nut key) They are upfront, honest and will not take advantage like shops in Jacksonville. My oil cooler and radiator were shot on my jeep jk, they were fast with the turnaround time. They kept me updated through the work they did. Overall great experience and amazing customer service. I’ll be bringing my car back next time.

Highly recommend!! We rented a U-Haul to pick up after hours and when the app didn’t work we called the owner Chris and he immediately came all the way to the shop to help us figure it out. Great hospitality, and very helpful!!! 10/10 recommend, I love it here and will come again anytime!!!

I went here to look around, and the employee who greeted me was nice and then warned me that some people are "shell shocked" by the prices before I went into the yard. I found a part I'd like to purchase, which was an ECU, and the price was $75 as-is no warranty. I was told they use eBay for comps, since that is the case I would certainly rather buy from someone on eBay (with a warranty) so I'm not wasting my money and time if the part doesn't work and additionally I can get it mailed to my house instead of pulling it myself. The value provided does not make sense compared to the price being charged so I declined to purchase. The yard had some interesting older cars, I suppose if you have a car you literally couldn't find parts for anywhere else this could be the yard to go to, but be prepared to pay eBay prices. If you have a more common vehicle, go elsewhere if you want to save some money or go to eBay since the price is comparable, you'll get a warranty, and you don't have to make a trip to the yard to pull the part yourself.

I got my 2009 Mazdaspeed3 worked on here. Overall, the experience was amazing. They walked me through everything they were doing and made sure I was okay with it. The quality of work was outstanding. They let me look at the welds before the put the car on the ground to ensure quality. All of the staff were friendly and helpful with everything. I also got a part and it was very reasonably priced. They were very fast with my job and exceeded my expectations. I will only ever go to this establishment for all of my automotive needs.

I had my catalytic converter put in and he did a great job with my car I know it wasn’t easy and it did take him some time but I will not ever complain when he never once complained and he gave me a very good price for working so hard on my car. I bought a 1990 Ford F-150 5.0 and found that both the exhaust manifolds were cracked. Bought new headers and magnaflow glasspacks for it. Talked to Chris and his dad about what could be done. Real easy to work with and helped me decide what would both sound the best and have some nice power gains. They got the truck done in about 3 days. Not a lot of hum in the cab and whenever you punch it, it sounds real throaty. Accelerates a little faster than stock. I love it and overall happy with service, workmanship, and price. 10/10 would recommend!

Can not recommend them enough, i was 100% in a pickle with my car and they came to the rescue. They showed up right when I needed them and assisted quickly with everything that was wrong with my car. I've been around modifying cars since before my feet could reach the pedals. In all that time I've never come across a more down-to-earth, honest and hard-working dude than the owner Chris. The level of quality and customization that JDM Automotive is capable of easily puts much bigger shops to shame.
