Avoid. They paid me scrap iron price for 4 electric washing machine motors and 1 large pressure washer motor. Two microwave transformers that have huge copper windings. I was paid for scrap iron price. Avoid these crooks.

I have brought aluminum cans here several times. The workers are always very helpful and pleasant. As soon as I pull up, someone is looking over how many bags I have and bringing the appropriate sized container right to my truck. They help me put the cans in the container and they haul off the plastic trash bags. I go to the cashier office while the cans are being weighed and in a short time I'm walking out with the money. Also, I have never ended up with a nail in my tire here. That has happened at other scrap yards.

I spent half a day cleaning and separating my brass. I had one bucket of clean brass at one bucket of dirty brass.. I dump the clean brass into the container he asked me to. I said the dirty bucket next to the container he picked it up and threw it inside I said are you counting all this as dirty brass now. He said well you got a separate I said I had it separated I said no you didn’t because he thrown the dirty stuff on top he said this is what you had. It had been about six months since the last time I went there and the same thing happened. I will not be back.

Best place in Southeast Texas to bring scrap IMO. The guys are fast and friendly, the office staff is always very friendly and generally are really quick to get you in and out. While I haven't used many other scrapping companies, Wright's is hands down the best I've been to.
