New update! Prices got pretty affordable again! I really recommend this place for your parts , remember "every car on the road is running on used parts" , This was the Best junk yard in northern Alabama ,on my own opinion, I'm updating my review since the last few times I been there seems like the sons or the younger folks are taking over the old man , the are charging a lot more for parts, something that I have gotten for $50 for many years they are trying to get $80 -$120 now , just whatever they feel that day , prices are not consistently the same , I understand that everything got expensive but still they are no paying a lot more for junk , they seem to not care for the customers anymore, I'm more of a car parts customer , I don't know how the business runs in the recicle side

R&J's is locally owned and operated they buy cars and sell the parts as well as buying metals. Prices are better or the same as everhwhere else. I drive an hour to go here but it's worth it to support smaller businesses. On the way out we looked thru the yard of cars to see because they have so many classics, yard been there longer than I've been alive, and I found a saw blade and oil filter they let me have. It's this kind of service I'd like to be around when working. As of June 9th 20 750lbs got me 56$ even.

Great place to sale scrap or buy parts . Ronnie is a great guy. They stay busy so you have to give them time to get to you.
