I couldn’t be happier with the service provided by Occidental Towing. I called them and the person on the phone was a reassuring and gave us an estimate time of arrival. We were about an hour away at a campground. The battery was dead on my car and I couldn’t get it started after some failed jump starts. The woman on the phone said “Does it have a 12 volt battery… he’ll get it started.” The guy that showed was as nice as could be… super friendly and confident as well, and sure enough he got it started. A very pleasant experience during a stressful time.

We had to have our car towed because we couldn't start it. Our first contact with the 24-hour towing company was on Monday evening, as we were told over the phone that towing wouldn't be possible until the following morning. On Tuesday morning at noon, no tow truck had arrived, so we called again. This time the woman on the phone suddenly claimed to know nothing about it. Only when I pointed out my email that i send did she suddenly remember who we were. She told us that a tow truck was on its way and would be there within an hour at the latest. At 2:00 PM, I called again to ask when the tow truck would arrive so we could be there in time. This time, an annoyed man answered the phone. He wanted my credit card details. When I told him that I had already given them to the woman, he exploded, insulted me, told me to shut up, and hung up. Highly unprofessional management, before criticizing others, they should address their own shortcomings. The tow truck finally arrived one minute after the phone call ended. The towing itself went smoothly, and the billing was correct. Because the work was completed I'm giving two stars.
