We are visiting Carpinteria for the week and my wheelchair armrest pivot bolt broke. I went to find a makeshift repair bolt and ended up having the owner, Fidel, find the parts and repair it for me in the store. His son who was helping his “papa” that day said his father recently purchased the store and knew how to fix just about anything. Fidel was fiddling with my wheelchair and trying different bolt and nut combinations for at least twenty minutes. During that time I observed several customers come and go, while he and his son answered questions. I also had time to look around at prices and they seemed very reasonable. It is wonderful when someone goes over the top to help others. I’ll definitely come back to Coast Auto Parts if I need anything.

Absolutely terrible customer service! I ordered some parts, was told that they would be in the following day. I came in to pick them up and was told they didn't come in (no phone call telling me to not come in). I then told them to call me when they came in... waited and waited - no call. Called them today to see if they're in and they came in on Saturday (4 business days ago)! Go somewhere else; I definitely will next time!
