My car broke down on the way to Tahoe on a Saturday. I used my AAA and this is the tow company that was assigned. To begin they came and got the car pretty quickly and said the car would be delivered back to Davis either the following day or Monday. Everything seemed fine so I agreed. Monday comes around and I don’t hear anything so I decided to follow up. Instead of taking accountability the lady that answered the phone immediately began arguing with me stating she didn’t tell me my car would be delivered on Sunday or Monday but rather Monday or Tuesday.AAA has record of the car being delivered on Sunday or Monday. I asked to talk to my manager and he ended up hanging up on me. I was extremely furious because my car needed to get to the shop for repairs to begin. This company lacks accountability, communication, and customer service. They didn’t even bring my car down to Sacramento AAA had to send on of their tow trucks to go up to Tahoe on Tuesday to pick my car up. This was the worst experience. I would never recommend this company.

They arrived exactly when they said they would. The tow tech, Arda, was very friendly and helpful. My car was taken to a nearby tire shop immediately.

I would not recommend this place. We were left stranded on the mountain and charged exorbitant fees once we managed to find our way back. Thankfully, we had some savings; otherwise, we would’ve been completely out of luck. The local police were no help either. When we contacted an officer, she told us to take a taxi home and said we were wasting our limited phone battery talking to her. She blamed us for parking in the wrong spot, even though we were only slightly in the restricted area. Luckily, we finished our hike before it got dark, and thankfully, someone accepted our ride request. When we arrived to retrieve the car, we were hit with a $550+ bill, which included a $150 gate fee and a $100 storage fee for just 30 minutes of storage. Altogether, the ordeal cost us around $700, including the ridershare to pick up the car. All of this for an hour-long hike and parking in a seemingly harmless area. The whole thing felt shady to me and negatively affected my Tahoe trip.
