When Charlie tells me something on my car needs work, I believe him completely. You can rely on him *never* trying to upsell you work you probably don't need just because it's a slow season or you don't know a lot about cars or you walked in without a husband/brother/bf. He's fantastic about not throwing jargon at you OR talking down to you when he is explains a car diagnosis and risks/benefits of driving it versus paying for a repair. If it takes his team less than the book time, he'll charge only the time it takes. I've saved hundreds of dollars taking my car to Charlie and his crew. I know because I had it quoted elsewhere! If my 10-year-old car is going through something dire, he's found a way to work me in even though he (understandably) often books a ways out. All the above is the best you can ask for in a shop, but especially as a woman, it can be really hard to find. Thanks, Global Auto team!!!
