The best words I can find to describe Copart Mobile (more correctly, their satellite lot up the road in Theodore) are incompetent and unprofessional. I was considering several RVs and wanted to have them inspected by an inspector of my choosing...not someone affiliated with Copart. I called the facility several times to work this out, including determining what requirements the inspector would need to meet, including membership, etc. I informed the inspector concerning this and he arrived with his assistant to conduct the inspection. His assistant was told she'd need to pay for a membership...not simply use the guest membership she'd already signed up for. I had earlier asked a Copart employee what level of membership was required and was told that any level, including the free guest membership would work. Eventually, she simply waited in the car instead of assisting in inspections and documenting RV condition. Additionally, I wanted the inspector to determine whether any of the units would start, as several were advertised as Run and Drive. I later talked with another Copart employee (Heath, I believe was his name) and he said that they had had RV fires at that location when people attempted to start RVs.) This sounds stupid. Have you ever heard of a fire extinguisher? How do you expect people to thoroughly inspect vehicles they are buying (as the Copart website advises) if they can't determine whether they will start? I paid a substantial amount of money to get these inspections/evaluations done and much of it was wasted, despite the inspector's best efforts. Actually, I don't even have time or energy that will allow me to convey the true magnitude of Copart incompetence at the Theodore satellite location. Sad. Also, don't waste your time asking for a return phone call. I've done it several times with no success. Instead, select the number 3 option as if you're returning their call. That's assuming you can tolerate the incompetence at Theodore or you have other Copart locations available to you.
