I purchased a 22r from sunwest in December 2021.Only problem I encountered was a pinched oil pump gasket that leaked after initial start up. not a huge deal and easy enough to fix. I do wish they would have used steel backed timing guides for the 22r timing chain, although that’s not a deal breaker in my book.They are easy to deal with, customer service is on point.If anything changes with the engine I will update this review.

People I talked to on the phone were cool.They sent out engine fastI liked the video they sent with motor rotatingAnd the pressure testsThe motor runs great no leaksInstalled myself . Put in a lot of new partsIt’s in my rv ,should have put in an eight cylinderI just replaced what I had in there22re supreme 260 cam seems to have more power off the lineAuto trans doesn’t help with powerSo far very satisfiedThanks

I sent them my 2013 STI EJ2.5 block with a spun bearing, from Ohio, the customer service was extremely helpful, there was some issues with the shipping company on pickup being on EST sunwest did more than expected on helping me get things sorted out. The workmanship is amazing and the prices are very affordable for the level of work. Having videos on their website of the work they do is what made me chose them over the others out there. The final touch I didn't expect but absolutely love was the SUNWEST dog tag on the block It was a little thing but somthing I love since I'm in the Air force it was just that much more.. I will always recomend them to all my subaru and toyota friends as an option.
