The hours of operation posted says that they're open until 4:30pm. They actually shut down earlier than that. 4:10-4:15pm. I got there at 4:18 to drop a couple things off, and they were already done for the day. I asked one of the employees if they've maybe thought about posting the hours that they're actually open for business, so people don't waste a trip there (which I'm sure happens nearly every day) and she acted like I was being absolutely absurd or something. I was told "well that's why we suggest you get here early" like I was at fault for believing their business hours are correct.

This was an easy process. Their dispatcher Diane asked questions to get us the right bin for our needs and worked with Lemay. She was extremely helpful answering all of our questions. I don’t know why more people don’t go this route when cleaning up their properties. Highly recommend them!

Great service and great employees it was my first time going to a place like this and they answered my questions and helped me out. The only problem I had was they will not take anything if your under 18. I was lucky enough that a gentleman there offered to put my scrap in his name and gave my the money and recipient. I will be going back when I have another load with someone who's 18+

The best customer service! They were all smiles, professional, helpful, and didn't make you feel stupid, and did not create barriers. They welcomed you as well as encouraged you to come back and see them, from arrival to pay out to departure, they continued to be so friendly. Great experience for a change. Normally the scrap yards are inpatient and grumpy and you feel like your a bother even being there, no questions, they are too busy for a small time recyclers. Thanks guys and gals, you made an unpleasant day a lot better. Hopefully, the negative don't ultimately make you change as times goes on....thanks again!

I've used five or six different scrap yards in Pierce county and these guys are hands down the best paying. I've went through my old receipts from the other places to compare prices and these guys pay 20% or better more than any of the other ones I've been to. I wouldn't go anywhere else.

Thhn wire current scrap says it pays 2.22$. Calbag pays around current prices. These guys paid me 1.69$. I regret going here, never again.

Only been there a couple times as this location is new. I don't know much about the company itself but I am extremely satisfied and somewhat impressed with them and the interactions I've had. They employee's who've taken my metal were not only polite and respectful but honest and knew their sh*t ( assisting me with the separation of my metals without any of the humbug I've learned to expect when scraping ) and helped me get the most out of what I'd brought. I say honest because let's face it compared to other scrap yards off of S. Tac. Way they were rightcgess with my weights and had very competitive prices to boot! I sincerely recommend this company and hope they flourish at this location. They have a new loyal customer in me.

Sutter is super convenient right off 56 s tacoma way,the employees are friendly and helpful usually every time I've been there and offer up tips to make recycling metal a little easier by educating us about punching holes in sealed units and draining oil and separating the different types of metal before weighting it, I live in gig harbor and prefer traveling to Sutter instead of sunnyslope where most the people from Gig harbor travel to, it's just a simple easy process that works greatf$
