I have an horrible experience on this company, I bought a used tires(6 total) I brought the tires to my tire guy when he inspect the tires none of them were good. I called this place to let them know the situation told me they don’t have a warranty on any used parts be aware don’t give away your money for free so I lost my money 11/7/22 I would like to make an update on my review this morning. I spoke with Tony over the phone. He agreed to give me credit for my tires, if he honor the exchange like he said, over the phone, I will make an update on my review.

Good place. Very friendly counter. 4.28.18 guys were an hour 1/2 away from closing when I showed up. Needed many parts. Every single guy got on board and rounded up parts.it was past their closing time and we were still searching throughout their very extensive inventory. Well past closing they were setting up pressure testing for radiator. We found 3k worth of parts for under $700 with a warranty.

American truck salvage is a great place for Peterbilt parts, I purchased two axle housings from them, I made a mistake and got the wrong ones, they were happy to exchange them for the ones I needed, also they help me with a set of gears for that housing, now my truck is back on the road and running great, Tony and his staff are very knowledgeable people and great to work with. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND AMERICAN TRUCK SALVAGE AND THEIR STAFF!! 😁👍

Honestly one of the best shops with service and prices! Went there today for the first time and definitely keeping my business loyal with them. Went in for a simple purchase. The guys answered all my questions and even showed me around making sure I got everything on my list and comes to find out the owner is the one at the check out box and turns out it was my lucky day and my list was on the house!!!! In their own words. The outside people and the original desk guy who helped me were great though. Wish I could remember front desk guys name.

I worked with Jesse. The young man was great. My truck tire tore the right side of my hood off and I called AMS spoke with Jesse he had a hood for me and was off in 30mins. He also, referred me to a shop that installed the hood for me with no questions asked. If your from out of town like me, I’m from GA, I would advise you to use this company!!!

I recently purchased a ISB Cummings engine for my Motor Home and Omar took extremely good care of me. Everything he told me about the engine was correct and to the detail. The day I picked it up at there Facility in Phoenix Omar and all the staff was very professional and pleasant to work with. They bagged the engine for me to protect it from the weather for my ride back home to NM. Then after I got home and started to install it in my Motor home we seen that we need two or three brackets off of my old motor that I left with them for my core. I then called Omar and told him what I needed and he took them off after he made sure they were the correct ones I needed and shipped them to me in a very quick manner. I now have the engine installed and it runs and sounds great. Thanks again to Omar and the crew at American Truck Salvage for your great service. I will be back again I'm sure. New and used heavy duty truck parts. This place is a hit and miss.....they either have it they dont..but they will try to find it for you. The counter folks are very knowledgeable. Lots of parts which search through....reasonable prices. Use this place more than once a month.

If looking for classic truck parts specifically Cabover parts do not go here. They have cabovers is the back that they won't sell parts off of even though the frames are cut, there are no engines in them. "They don't part out cabovers" 100% agree with previous post saying workers are lazy. Tell you you have to come look yourself then don't want to sell anything or take any effort to go look for themselves. I appreciate the 3hr drive for nothing american truck salvage!
