work in the service sector of housing complexes, repairing household appliances, and often collect non-ferrous metals, copper, bronze, brass, and more. I always bring it to this collection point. Very nice people work here, they will always help you unload, they will clearly show you what to unload where and they will serve you quickly. I also really like their collection, which is located at the non-ferrous metal reception house. Respect and Respect. Thank you for your work.

The people working here were very nice. They took care of recycling the steel and non-steel items. Highly recommend!

They have really improved the place since I was last there only thing is the process of who goes to where are confusing when it's just a line of cars out in the street and waiting to pull in. Once the gentleman came and helped everyone go to the correct place things were fast and great prices for scrap metal compared to the place over by my house it's definitely worth the trip for me

Owner is a terrible awful racist man, today I made it to the yard with my husband. Unfortunately we had to take the city bus and arrived with only about 20 minutes to spare before closing. I was here looking for a rotor for my 99 Acura TL wasn't sure what the interchangeable vehicle parts were. Right at closing we found an 03 MDX that I spoke with one gentleman and said that we will be back in the morning at opening to pay for that part. This lot has us bring our own tools, they don't do inventory of the parts that are left on their vehicles. While leaving, I saw a vehicle that might just so match my vehicle, so I looked inside to see what the model was while doing that the owner ran up on us tried to rip my husband's tool bag off of his back. The owner then stated, "what's in the bag, boy?!" Then about 20 employees tried to jump my husband and I. We are paying customers, we did nothing wrong. We have nothing with usbut the tools we brought. They discriminated against us because we are walking and my husband is black. Such a terrible way to treat paying customers that are here looking for needed parts. He did not treat any of the white or Hispanic customers this way. PERFECT! I as well have the incident recorded as well as reported it the Better Business Bureau. If the story is is fabricated, post the video then. Let the public react to the situation. I am not worried one bit, and your "witnesses" know your were in the wrong. You discriminated against us thinking we were something we aren't. Humble yourself. POST THE VIDEO!

The guy that helped me & my dad with a big haul of aluminum cans was super cool, definitely knows his job there and was quite charming! It felt great knowing that all those cans aren't ending up in a landfill and my dad got enough for a full tank of gas lol This is a great place to go for all your needs that Bindford can meet - check out their website or give em a call with any questions! Very convenient location too ☺️

I just wanted to say Garrett and Matt are great employees! They were very helpful kind and courteous to me today! Thank you for taking the initiative today! You both deserve a raise. Thank you Teresa C

I had about 700 lb of scrap metal scattered around my yard so after much nagging by my wife I dedicated my day off to clean up the yard and decided to take the metal to this place. The office staff and the guy on the scale were nice but the guys on the yard whom were supposed to help me to unload the truck were just standing there doing nothing, infact, they were kind of laughing about my struggles to take the scrap off my truck. Took me more then 20 minutes by myself. I was not happy. Not a pleasant experience.

They are rude they took my son's copper and we're supposed to give him $30 cash and a check for the rest they wrote it all in a check when he asked for his copper back the guy threw it in a bin and said it was at his discretion I will never go back there again really really bad customer service the lady I talked to on the phone was rude not one person I talk to you at that company was considerate nice and trying to help me resolve the situation
- RRicky Quintero
They would be way better if they didn’t Jude you for not being an electrician and/or turning people away because they are homeless. They only take me because after being denied I kept coming back until I wasn’t.

This is not a great business. It is accurate when they say that it is family owned, but don't let that fool you into thinking the owners are people you would want to know because they are not good people. I'll just leave it at that. As for the employees themselves, its pretty much 50/50 at best, meaning 1/2 the time you'll encounter average attitudes, and average quality customer service. The other 1/2 of the time you'll be met with disrespect, and extremely unprofessional attitudes. You can be sure that you will be treated like you are some kind of criminal pretty much from the second you enter the place until you drive away. I really could continue to go on and on about the various reasons why you should absolutely do yourself a favor and avoid this place, i could go into detail about how i have come to know what i know about binford metals, during the 9 years i was an active business client but i would prefer not to spend any more of my time writing a review about binford metals then i have to. If you take a look around you will see that there are other recycling places nearby and i recommend you at least try one or two others out at least once, because you may realize that you'll be much happier bringing your business to any one of them. Valley Recycling is a fantastic place to go, and i have heard Calbag is also a great choice. Binford Metals however is neither fantastic, nor a great choice.
- NNic
It's 2024 and if you take over 30 dollar of recycling products here.... They issue a paper check to take to heritage bank to be cashed. They don't do PayPal or venmo or other services. they only issue up to 30 dollars cash. Big waste of time and energy and gasoline. This should have happened fifteen years ago, to issue electronic payments to customers. I'm not going here until they change their policies and enter the 21st century. I have literally been using PayPal for 22 years. Not to.mention , each of the holographic printed checks that they issue probably costs 20-70 cents each. What a waste of money. Issue an.electronic payment and a basic printed receipt.

Always have great experience when dropping materials. People are awesome.

I finally made the decision to let go of my '03 SAAB, Binford made the process so easy. Called them scheduled a pickup and they were there the next day, also worked around my schedule to minimize impact. Office staff was amazing as well as the tow truck driver. If you're looking for a great company to work with, this'll be the one you should choose. Thanks again for all the great work.

Quick and easy to recycle not the most signage and directions of where to go
- JJohn Sanders
Super friendly. Easy to drop off metal for recycling. Your truck gets weighed coming in like the dump, they tell you where to drive (that was a tad confusing, but people directed us). You unload the metal yourself, and leave Ina big loop back to the scales. Super cool piles of everything, giant wrecking machines, welders. You get weighed, and go up to the office and they pay you. FYI you have to have a valid ID with you to get paid.

Very happy with the way I was treated there. Sean was awesome and every one else was also helpful. I had to fly there from 750 miles away so it wasn't the easiest transaction and process but they made it as simple and easy as possible. I probably communicated with them 10-15 times and they were very helpful and responsive. Love the car. Great price! Highly recommended. Thank you!
- SSteeltael Wolf
Quick and easy to drop off metal and get a fair price. Sometimes the wait can be long if you arrive on a busy day. But the staff have always been very friendly and helpful. Even unloading an engine block for me with a forklift. I've made almost 300 dollars on three scrap trips. Try them out!
- CCole Quinlin
Crooks. Dropped off 180 lbs of aluminum. Expected a ticket about $90-$125. Was handed a ticket for $20. Was told since there was one nail, that’s the price I get. So I said fine I’ll take my aluminum back, would not give back aluminum. Will never return.

I've been to a lot of scrap and recycling yards over my years. I have never seen such a clean, organized, scrap yard. No worries about running over things with your tires. All the personnel were very helpful, and even educated me on different medals. Recommend them highly!!
- AA M
Drove 2.5 hrs on way after calling to confirm part was available. Once I got there staff spent 20 min looking for the car. A mechanic had to inform them car had been sold as a whole and didn't know why it was still in the system.

Okay, so I am a very honest person. Many people pocket small tiny parts. I do not. Many places like Budget will either charge me very little or not at all for some of the small things...like an ash tray. Pick n Pull doesn’t care if I have some small plastic knob. Well...at this place, for only two plastic seat belt bracket covers, and two half inch round trim pieces...they charged me $10!!! Are you kidding me?!? I could have got them off eBay for .99 each with free shipping. Even if it was $5, I’d be okay with that, but $10? Why is it that the honest person like me gets punished by getting gouged for the smallest little things? But, I bet they complain when people steal parts. I wonder why? Nice people for the most part, but not when it comes to price on most things. I’d skip this place unless it’s a last resort. Budget next to them is way better in my experience.

Had a tire problem and showed up 10 minutes before closing. Awesome people they went ahead and even though it was raining they swapped tires for me and I was on my way just after they closed. Staying open just to swap a tire real quick even though they didn’t need to and could’ve sent me on my way. That’s customer service! Daniel is that man and needs a raise!! Will definitely be coming back!

Best place and price for your recycled metals. The guy who works the weight station is always nice and has good costumer service. Very well pleased with my experience here and would recommend to all residents and commercial.

Had 5 trash cans of aluminum cans. Never been here before. I got in line and pulled in. Super helpful dude asked me for my ID and rolled up 2 big trash cans for my cans. It got weighed and I was told to go to the office for payment. When I looked at the total, I thought it was a mistake. It was 3 times what I thought I would get. The last time I recycled cans was 6 years ago. Times have changed! Another employee helped a lady get back into her truck that she accidently locked herself out of. He jumped into the back and popped open the rear sliding window and crawled in. Got to keep the line moving!
- MMatthew Dittmar
Their prices on scrap copper were good, but on review of my scrap weight I was very concerned that my "bright and shiny" was loaded into a bin that already had a large amount of bright and shiny in it. I had weighed all of my scrap right before heading in, and my weight total was nearly 50 pounds different from their weight total. I can guarantee, had mentioned a problem with their total weight they wouldn't have just let me pull my scrap from the bin full of scrap bright and shiny they had me dump my scrap into. I will definitely be demanding an empty bin on my next trip.

UNPROFESSIONAL! I am disappointed in the lack of expertise of the staff and the unprofessional manner in which Binford Metals dealt with my issues. After locating some rare original fenders for my Monte Carlo LS on the website I had several conversations with the parts manager Mark as to their authenticity, condition and availability. Living 250 miles away, I was continually reassured that I would be happy with my purchase if I made the trip to remove them. Inquiring about the high purchase price I was informed that another set of these exact parts could only be found 1000 miles away and I agreed to it. I repeatedly requested that pictures be sent to me and although promised, I never received any. This past Saturday I made the long drive over to pick up my parts only to locate the car in the yard and see right away that they were not the original fenders and not the parts that were being advertised. I find it both shocking and disappointing that parts professionals would not be able to tell that the parts were wrong or at least take the time to verify them. This is their job! I took one look at them and saw that the time and money I spent traveling over was a waste. When I informed Mark that the parts weren't correct he didn't seem too concerned stating that, "well, the VIN number says they're right." And as a parting gesture he searched my tool bag in case I had stolen something. Thanks a lot. Having been in contact for weeks with Mark, he knew very well that I had traveled, was excited and willing to pay whatever necessary. If he had at least sent the pictures to me I would have been able to tell right away that they were wrong and saved myself the trouble. In light of the situation, I don't think that some remorse or an apology or some sort of gesture would have been too much to ask. The moral of this story is that I am not impressed with Binford Metals.

Great customer service! You can recycle all of your metals. They are very informative in helping make sure you get the best price. If something needs to be cut or separated they have always showed me what can be changed to get the most out of Im recycling. I’m totally recommend!
- DDavid B
Awesome for metal recycling. They pay 6.7 cents per pound. No 5 stars because the grounds (roads) inside the place are covered with shredded bits of metal. Surprised I made it out of there without punctured tires. UPDATE: Just went July 2022 and they are now paying 3 cents per pound, less than half od what it was the last time I went. I guess no one needs metal anymore
