Discrepancies on grade of the material I brought in & paid me the lowest grade on scale for it. I learned to ask what grade they'll pay BEFORE unloading then to find out they pay way under other competition. I mistakenly went back this past Saturday & received HALF of what I would have made elsewhere. Won't be going back here. Too bad because I will miss the Haitian man that works back by white goods & PPS#1, He's the best employee they have! Always friendly, kind, patient & always has a beautiful smile.

I took in 16 pounds of pure brass! I found out afterwards that it was worth $1.25 - $2.00 ! They gave me. 50 cents per pound! Be ware they are not at honest!

This place doesn't buy junk cars if you don't have title in-hand. If that is your situation recommend going somewhere else. I have sold junk cars without title in-hand to different companies.

Allied claims to pay the most for scrap metal but I called today and for #1 copper they are paying $2.25 and Garden Street is paying $3.20 for #1 copper so who is paying the most?

I just went there they close at 3 PM in their gates close at 2:50 PM. Very nice guys, however, their scale did not work. I weighed 12 pounds of pure copper at home and when I got there they only gave me 4 pounds. I had to go back they weighed again found out that I was right. 60% difference in pay out!!!!Make sure you wear your stuff before you go there. They may forget to zero the scale for their scale may just not be calibrated.

Been there numerous times an have gotten nails in my tires an 2 flats that was caused by all the junk laying around, without them compensating me for tha trouble they caused due to there negligence, on top of the fact they are ripping people off by hiring people that dont know their metals, like MLC aluminum, insted they put as old sheet, which pays way less, an if u have 50lbs of aluminum or copper they put down 25lbs... Allied should seriously be investigated

Rip people off take pounds off your stuff and make prices as LOW as possible. Staff constantly lies to customers. I would know, i worked there and quit because of all the messed up things they were doing go to garden street.
