I asked them what they would pay for my 3500 van which runs great after only 107k miles and they offered me $200. Needless to say, I was insulted and realized that they are crooked thieves! The following month I was able to trade that same van in for 2.5k towards a newt car off the lot! U pick it stands for pick your pockets!

I don’t see how this junk yard can even stay above water. Most of their vehicles are old and outdated. Most of them aren’t even being driven on the road anymore. Everyone is driving newer vehicles now days. I think that them charging a fee at the door even if you don’t find what you’re looking for is robbery. I’d rather go to an auto parts store.

Had to pay an entrance fee of $2 per person but it was worth it. Extremely well organized, easy to find the vehicles we were looking for w/a print out of their exact location. Sadly though, A LOT of the vehicles on the lot had been cannibalized beyond use & we didn't find what we needed. 😞

Watch out for hidden fees and wrongful charges. Last week I was charged for a digital cluster but had a analog one. Today I was charged an environmental fee because they are a scrap yard. That was literally their excuse. Environmental fees are charged because of the waste you bring to be recycled not because you purchase recycled parts. Another thing, they charge for admission(thats like a you gotta pay to get into my store mentalilty). Honestly their parts aren't really cheaper than parts online or at a parts store. The only use to going to youpickit is if you need a speciality part that day and even then most likely its a waste of your time and money because they don't keep an updated stock of the vehicles. Im sure there are other auto salvage yards in AZ that are worth the drive.

This is a really cool spot, well organized and pretty clean for a scrap yard, but off the beaten path. When you first pull up to their address, you'll see they sell some pretty nice used cars out front. Go a little deeper in, and you can turn garbage into GOLD <well, cash$$ that you could save to BUY gold, anyways>!! Awesome folks working here, very helpful and friendly, thanks!
