First time being here. Had no idea what to expect. Seems to be a lot or regulars coming through. Really interesting place to get parts for your vehicle. Keep in mind to bring your own tools, necessary tool you need to get that part you need; it’s self service. Unless in my case their was a friendly gentleman there happy to assist me with his 10mm socket wrench to get a taillight I needed. 👌

Employees are very rude told my husband and I that we need to hurry up bc they are closing. The young girl in the office is very unprofessional. I would not recommend this place to anyone, you can tell these people really hate their job.

This place is unorganized compared to all the other pick and pull places I've been to. Nobody was in line but we waited forever for the sales staffs to notice we were there. (They were just chit chatting the entire time.) Do your job. You're getting paid to provide service, not to sit and talk with your fellow coworkers during business hours.

They need better cashiers that know about cars they always want to charge me for a different part and when I tell them what it is they say no that’s not what it is so dumb and they don’t honor the prices on there website

I went with my husband to sell our truck. We didn't expect a whole lot because it's a junk yard and what else can you expect but poor quality from a junk yard. Except that isn't what we got. While it's definitely the got the junk yard, salvage yard, tow yard (insert whatever you call it) vibe, we had a very pleasant experience. The lady (I wish I'd gotten her name to properly give her a shout out) was everything you'd want in the front end of customer service. She was polite, prompt, did everything to make the process smooth and efficient. She was very accommodating and was quick to get us in and out. The process for paperwork was done without any hassles as long as you come in with the required forms and do what you're supposed to do. She was quick to guide us into the lot. She got us a check for the proper amount we were quoted. And got us out within 30 minutes. Definitely recommend for selling cars.

Each pick n pull location has its own character and type of vehicles you find. The workers at Modesto are very friendly and helpful. They change over cars quickly, maybe too quickly. Good place to get parts. Only wish they had more OEM rims on sale. Hard to find for OBS Ford trucks.

Trying to sell them my old truck but these guys don’t tell you what paperwork is needed, I called the online number and the main office number ( they have never answered the phone). Waited for 30-40 minutes because the employee was talking to another employee and they wouldn’t help me until they were done talking to each other.

This place is really awesome. $2 to get in, and they have tons of different models, makes, and years. There prices are reasonable. And they enforce the Covid mask law. I'm not real fond of that, but if the media has you worried, then your safe there. No mask, no entry!! Still and awesome place though.

I've been going there since I was a youngster and living 1 1/2 hrs away, they seem to have most of the vehicles I needed for parts. $2 entrance fee ain't bad. I dont like how theres no shade there whatsoever. But any part I need I look up the price online before going there because some parts I can buy new at a auto store for cheaper than what they charge for certain things. Do some research beforehand!

Don't bother selling your old vehicle to them. We sold our van to them two months ago and they have not filed the paperwork for the sale with the DMV. When we called them they were rude and said they take 90 days to file the paperwork with the DMV. I don't think that's even legal.

Good parts, I’ve always been in and out but don’t expect them to be on time to their scheduled pick ups as the drivers show up whenever they want. I’ve called three times now making this next call my fourth just for them to push me off again. Very big inconvenience as I had important things to do today. Will update my review as the day goes on.

Needed both rear doors to fit my 1996 Ford E 250 Van... they gave me good pricing, help loading and more! Appreciated it as it was 103° that day in July, 2019. The replacement doors I got had better interior trim panels, pop out to vent rear windows and working lock cables and linkages. Color me happy. All I had to do was sand and paint!

Love going here for parts. Like a big Play place for Auto enthusiast. Can't beat the prices. When I went today I noticed that they had put carpet pieces under the majority of the working area. Awesome guys awesome

They claim to be a bargain parts place, but be sure to check rock auto before you go because you might be able to buy the part brand new for the same price. Also don't expect the staff to do much more than to take your money. They like to up charge everything. Clearly customer service is not a priority for them. It's a great place to learn about cars, but not always the best for parts

Prices are fair and the workers can be a bit rudish. But if you need a part it's worth it

Came to get some parts... Brought my son who is 6... They turned us away at the door. Said my son is to young to go into a scrap yard??? Never going to pick n pull again... Plenty of other scrap yards in the area. Lost my business for life, and telling anybody who will listen.

It's a pretty good salvage yard. My only gripe is that since people pull their own parts, they destroy others. So you might be looking for a while in the heat. On a different note. They sell running vehicles for very low prices.

I went to Pick-N-Pull on a Monday and found there was hardly anybody inside and plenty of vehicles to choose from got the part I needed and was on my way definitely a good Pick-n-Pull

My mom and I went to pick n pull today and to be honest. The three ladies at the front desk today were more than rude. They shut down their customers comment and questions and didn’t even let my mom finish talking about status of her car after pick up. These women were rude and didn’t seem like they were working. They were gossiping about their lives for the rest of the customers to hear. I wish the manager sits down and talk to this women. Cause how they treat their customers is horrible and something needs to be fixed. Bad customer service overall.

My last visit was great. There were 10 vehicles that had interchangeable parts with my own vehicle. The stock was fresh and still had most parts intact. The woman at the entrance gate was very knowledgeable and helpful.

I don't know what's going on with pick n pull but everything is unorganized you have to look all over the whole yard for a specific car or truck and SUV is not separated like it was before all trucks and SUVs in one section Ford's in another section all imports in one section Dodge in another section but no!! There not were they belong!! They need to reorganize everything in the yard make it easier for the customer to find what they're looking for 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬

I found the parts I needed between 3 different trucks. Prices were good. Just I think they need to move out the ones that have been picked over out. Unless you know where to look and don't give up chances are you won't find what your looking for.

location is about 10 minutes off the 99. Modesto pick and pull has some good fresh cars and trucks but is not as many as the Stockton location. Professional staff, easy checkout.

The staff is unfriendly and has poor knowledge of the inventory. The prices are little too high, considering the fact that the parts are used.

Modesto pick n pull is pleasure to have around the area. Relatively mid-sized yard compared to Stockton yard, but it makes up for it by cycling cars more often. Staff is modest with customer service, but also nice. I love the cats they have too!!

Well up until recent years I could walk around freely find what I needed and get to dismantling or what have you and be on my merry way. My last three visits however not quite so pleasant, my unpleasantness doesn't come from ur traditional else whereas an employee or ignorant incompetent soul has rubbed u the wrong way. Nope nope nope. ! There is nothing worse than being followed around by staff as if you've stolen the holy Grail. I mean really what an I going to throw a transmission over the fence while my 400 pound linebacker buddy stands there waiting for it on the other sifde of of the fence ? People not everyone that is a customer intends to steal what they came for. This is a result of bad television!! 🤔😁.

either lies about parts compatibility or the system is wrong ether way. i was given a list of parts compatible for my truck. with a list of locations and alternative parts. i asked before paying, positive these parts will work, cause i dont have extra money to waist. was told yes these parts are the same. took to local shop to have put on and guy came to find out they are different part was the right size length but fitting where to small. so now its ok for u guys to lie ( false advertise ) trick me into buying. thats not right. asked for a refund was told no asked guy for his name he walked away didnt see him come back another employee did. told him that was false advertisement. and that i was lied to to buy part.( was not as described ) i just got a smile and said thats not my fault. i want my money back on these parts i was lied to about. im glad to bring it all back due to it dont work. u guys dont have what is needed. plus u lied. i wont come back. im not going to wait months till u finally update yard or the chance that u get the right part. any ways thanks hopefully shop will be done putting the broken parts back on tomorrow before work.
