Terrible business practices. I would have understood the $285 tow charge, but they also charged me $115 just to process the transaction and they charged me for a full 24 hours of storage even though my car was in the yard for less than 3 hours. Essentially their business practice is exploitation. My recommendation to the business owner is to have some level of integrity try a contract with AAA or something rather than exploiting individuals for revenue.

Tom went above and beyond helping me move two shipping containers from ojai all the way to Malibu! Once on site he made sure to position them exactly where I wanted and made many adjustments to make sure I was happy. The owner of this company took his entire Labor Day to make sure everything ran so smoothly and efficiently. I was so appreciative and happy. He really took the time to communicate with me and plan it out accordingly. I wish I could leave 10 stars!! Tom’s dedication to customer service is top notch. He will always be my first call. With the cost of diesel and time the price was extraordinarily reasonable.

Tom's Towing was awesome last night. I was almost home when a tire blew. Called my roadside assistance and 3 hour later I found out no one was coming. I then proceeded to call Black on Black towing which has helped me before. Only to find out it was $225 for less than a 10 mile tow. I called Tom's Towing which I have also used in the past many times. 10-15 min later the truck showed up and was extremely reasonable.(even gave the driver a $20 tip for his awesome service.) Tom's went over and beyond to make sure I got home. ONLY TOMS FROM NOW ON.

Towing company says open 24 hours but they are not. If they are the company that tows your car & has it in their lot, they are not available hardly ever. They make their own hours. Bad for business.

Do not recommend Tom's towing at all. Towing company located on Sherwin Ave in Ventura. Use their service only if you want to get ridiculed, cussed at and treated unfairly. I completely understand that the employee/owner was called by the rental apartments to tow, however absolutely no customer service awareness and communication skills demonstrated by the employee/owner who attempted to tow. He even bargained on a set a price seeing the car owner's helplessness of not being able to continue a work day with no car. Stated he could lower the price if paid in cash. Also demonstrated discrimination base on car owners race and skin color. There were a total of 11 cars parked on the rental apartment property in fire lanes, no parking spots and one even in a disabled spot with no tags. He picked my car even when I arrived in time before it got towed and went ahead to negotiate the price for him to not tow it. No need of such dishonest and discriminatory businesses in our city of ventura.

I do want to admit, I did accidentally cut your employee off on the 5 North. I honestly didn't mean, he was on my blind spot, and I do apologize. Instead of flipping my daughter and I off, I have a few suggestions. Maybe he could of honked his horn before or after I cut him off. Instead he showed road rage in front of me and many motorists. I know that if I wasn't the one being flipped off, I would definitely have second thoughts about using your company. In fact I would be scared of your drivers. I know that I will never use your company and I wonder how many times he has expressed anger out on the road and on the freeway. How many of your employees act in this manner. I will let my friends and family members know not to trust or use your company. I do suggest you speak with your employees, especially the person in the picture I sent to you.

Just the most wonderful experience with Tom’s Towing. Great communication from the driver (Colin), accurate estimate of his arrival time and super professional handling of towing my car. Even followed up with a picture of the car being dropped off when the job was complete! I would highly recommend and I will always use Tom’s Towing in the future.

Incredibly rude truck drivers. Towed my friends car from my apartment, after less than 24 hours. The car was parked in the visitor parking. The policy is the car must move every 72 hours. The person on the phone continued to argue and insist the car had been there for over 72 hours. They charged 400$ to get her car out, and refused to offer her Military Discount.

In the past two months I have used Tom's Towing service twice. Both times I was extremely impressed with their professionalism and courtesy. Each driver (Cody and Eric) were prompt and efficient. Appreciated the courtesy ride home on both occasions. The dispatcher (Josh) was very professional and kept me posted as to the drivers whereabouts. I would definitely recommend their services to those in need.

The best towing service at a fair price! Jason and Eric are the best! This time I got Jason, he was on time, very fast, and very friendly! He did extra work but stuck with the price he quoted so the 20% tip was deserving! I have used Tom’s Towing in the past and will continue to in the future! Thank you for everything!!!!!!!!!!!

I was lefted hight and dry for 5 hours waiting for a tow truck and he never showed. I called toms towing and omg let me tell you. Tom was so friendly and helpful. His son was very friendly and helpful. They communicated their time and did exactly everything they said. They were on time. I can not tell you enough how grateful I am for Tom's towing. I 1,000 percent recommend them!!!!

I have used this company several times. This last time they helped tow my Santa Fe. Instead of promising me they would be there in an hour Saturday night, they were honest and said they won't have anyone till the morning. They were on time Sunday and Monday. Helpful courteous and professional. You won't get a better experience.

I contacted Toms Towing in regards to my vehicle that was towed, overnight as I slept due to an expired registration. The vehicle was parked in my complex, in my assigned parking stall but it still got towed which is complete bull. I was told that it would be $360 to get my vehicle back, I called on a Saturday and I was told that an additional charge would be added if I tried picking it up on Saturday because it had been there for a day/over night because they had "towed it Friday night" I knew that could have been nearly impossible because I had gotten home fairly late that night and asked if they had paper proof or some sort of documentation that would show a time stamp to which he replied "Yes we do". After looking he comes to see that the vehicle had gotten towed that Saturday morning and that additional charge wasn't being held against me after all. I let him know that I would be there Sunday to pick my vehicle up if I was able to make it down there to where he told me that if I make an appointment to pick it up and do not show up it would be an additional $50-$100(which I appreciate him letting me know). However every time I spoke to Eric on the phone at the end of the conversation I would say "thank you, goodbye" and he would have already hung up without saying anything literally leaving me on the hang which I found rude if your running this "business". Once I got there I met with the person who takes you through the process of getting your car back (registration, insurance and ID is required) and he was very polite and respectful and I thank him so much for making that process a good experience hence the two stars I'm giving them but mainly him.

I was very pleasantly surprised with the service. The drivers, Josh and Eric, were very friendly and professional. They were also very informative and extremely helpful! In the unfortunate circumstance you need your car towed, you want both of these guys to help!

towed my car from an apartment without making sure that the owner of the parking space was actually his. We moved in 11/23 and my car got towed 11/25 on thanksgiving morning. $400 to get the car out and when I called to try to contest it he said, “I’m not going to argue with you” totally unprofessional and just desperate for money because he told my husband, “when the guy who called parks in front of your garage, call us so you can get him back” aka just wanting business… yeah no. I’ll call the police if that happens forget getting these guys any business at all. I’ll be sure to spread this information to people in Oxnard. Thank God we know a lot of people so they too can know and beware. :)

These guys have no soul. Care only about getting there money. Withheld my property by some frivolous technicality. They could of easily accommodated me and helped me recover my stuff in a 100% fair and legal fashion. But instead they robbed me. . . and kept property that i can never replace. My experience with toms towings was more than i expected i made the call for a tow because my car broke down.mike the guy on the phone gave me a reasonable price and made me feel like i made the right choice. the driver was there before expected josh the driver was so nice and professional. Called trying to receive more information about vehicle and could not believe the horrible service we received. Talked to "Mike" who said he was the manager himself, who was disgustingly sarcastic and eventually hung up on me . Please consider all this before you decide to take your service here. If that's how their management treats you then highly consider going somewhere else. Reading all these 5 stars has me confused because it's been years since I've had service THIS bad. Enough to make me come and write a review. Horrible.

RIDICULOUS... He had just lifted my car up in my apartment complex. I ran outside in PJ's and a bright pink blanket to stop him. I flagged him down saying "excuse me wait, excuse me wait". I was literally in front of his truck and next to it. He said "sorry" and kept speeding off down my alley way. I called our security in which they gave me his phone number to call. I called to complain because he wouldn't stop and wasn't off my property when I tried to flag him down. The driver answers and tells me " I didn't know you were trying to stop me. I heard you say excuse me but I'm in this big diesel truck so I thought maybe I came too close to you." And the biggest lie he told " I have tinted windows so I couldn't see you". I was flagging him down while coming towards me, next to me, and passing me. How can you NOT see me in a big sky blue and pink blanket with your windows down ??? Then tells me I can't get my car until tomorrow it will be cheaper. His cheap price $260. You mean to tell me I couldn't get it cheaper in my apartment complex??? All this because my parking pass wasn't visible but the security has seen my car here every night and has my car on file 😠.... By the way it's all on camera.. will be getting a copy from my complex to make this incident well known.

This company will tow you while you sleep! Absolutely no morals and totally unethical. They towed my car from in front of my apartment at 2am. They use predatory towing in order to get business. Good job, guys, you win low-life's of the year! I tried reporting to the BBB, but I guess they're too shady to get on that list!

I highly recommend calling this towing company for all your towing needs . I got a flat tire today while driving on the 126 freeway. I called them and they were here in 30 minutes. They charged me a fair price. I was really happy with the service . If I ever need roadside assistance again...I'm calling them again !

Horrible service. Outrageous prices. Towed because of idiot Cornwall security guard looking to fill a quota or something. This low life has towed many cars from my complex with no LEGITIMATE REASON. On top of all that, the prices are absolutely OUTRAGEOUS . He also lied about his yard being open 24/7 saying I would have to pick up my car the next day rather than the night of. And of course, the extra cost another UNBELIEVABLE $260. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

Rude employees, and mob-mentality. They picked up, and towed my car some where between friday night, and saturday morning. They never passed on the information to the police to have them notifie me that they had towed my car, and now i have to pay for those day because of the storage fee. This company is probobly a ma and pop shop, and has corupt tactics on making money. If you ever wanna get rich quick, then start a towing company.

Towed my car because of my HOA so I get it they were doing their job, however I show up at their place the next morning to pick up my car and get to work on time.... no luck. Everyone I talked to said they would be there by 8 its 8 30 and nothing.... even the owner cant show up to work on time.
