I would like to tell you about my experience with SKIP, DONNIE & WESTSIDE AUTO RECYCLING. Due to my Mother passing, I had to get her house ready to put on the market to sell. My Mom had a non-operational truck and camper in her backyard that needed to be removed. I called several recycling / car buying / donation places in L.A./ Santa Monica area. Most companies I spoke with were rude, uninformed or simply didn't answer the phone. The people or robots I dealt with asked a million questions, only to say days later they don't accepts campers. My opening statement to all these companies was " I have a TRUCK AND CAMPER"! I was so frustrated by the unprofessionalism in this industry. Reluctantly, I got back on the internet and saw WESTSIDE AUTO RECYCLING. I read some great reviews so i decided to try one more company. Being the weekend, I expected to leave a message. Much to my surprise, SKIP answered the phone, was friendly and eager to assist. Within one hour SKIP came to the house to see what needed to be removed. Not only was he nice and knowledgable, he was empathetic to my situation. SKIP said he would return days later, with a tow truck and DONNIE the driver and would attempt the removal. I live in Orange County and the drive to Santa Monica on the weekends is usually 2-3 hours. This meant I had to trust SKIP on his word he would return. Much to my surprise, I received a confirming phone call to day prior to pick up. On the day of pick up, Donnie called in the morning and kept me updated. Upon arrival SKIP and DONNIE of WESTSIDE AUTO RECYCLING were able to remove the truck and campers! I was elated with their OUTSTANDING SERVICE, PROMPTNESS and reasonable pricing. I have been a business owner over 40 years and a R.N. of 38 years. I admit, I am a little jaded and do not hand out compliments easily nor do I do many reviews. HOWEVER, when the service is so OUTSTANDING, it has to be recognized! SKIP, DONNIE and WESTSIDE AUTO RECYCLING are an EXCELLENT business to deal with. A 5 star rating is not enough. THANK YOU for helping me in my time of need!!!
