Enormous mouthwatering burgers with the best pub style fries. Be ready to be stuffed or plan on two meals from one burger! Fried cheese as pizza crust - Yes, please! Chili cheese fries on a mammoth hot dog - don't mind if I do! A bit out of the way, but the smash style burgers are a great reward for the drive.

Food - burger heaven when you're eating a 1/2 lb burger. Fries and the fry sauce were good, but I'm here for the burger. Seemed they were aiming for spicy in most of their burger selections. Service - kind folks here. They bring out your food, and yes, you can get soda refills at the window. Atmosphere - can't beat the country music playing in the junk yard while sitting in the sun and enjoying some strawberry lemonade. There are lots of nice shady spots for eating outside, too. Conclusion - stop in and chill out with one of the best burgers on the west coast of the US.

Had the Junk in the Trunk Burger. It was delicious. It got on my face and hands, so it belonged in my mouth. The pineapple sauce and jalapenos gave it a sweet hot taste. You won't walk away hungry when you are done eating. No public bathroom or place to wash up. That was the only negative.

We were looking for a good burger on our way to Grants Pass and we were not disappointed! We each had a burger and fries. Outdoor-ish seating had overhead heaters to keep us warm while we ate. The burgers were huge and delicious! We each only were able to eat half of our burgers and used the convenient to go containers to keep the rest for dinner. Burgers were still great reheated for dinner! 100% would go again!

Pastrami sandwich was really good! I had the junkyard fries and was barely able to eat half of them. Cheeseburger was enormous and the vegetarian sandwich was delicious as well! Seating is more or less outside so dress accordingly. Grab a beer and enjoy the decorations and food.

I have been going here for years. I love it I’ve made hour and a half drives just to stop and eat. I’ve had the hots dogs and burgers. Guy fieri definitely knew what he was talking about. Who doesn’t love fried cheese. Make it a patty and put it on your burger or brat cmon now. Portions great flavor great. Price? Alright.

Have been meaning to stop and try this place for a while now. While I have heard a lot of hype about this place between Triple D and locals, I was really disappointed. This place has a small “inside” seating area. “Inside” is… well open for interpretation. The food was sub standard for a large portion. While the portion was generous, the flavor was lacking and left some wanting more. The kielbasa was tasty but still kind of bland. The fries were typical frozen crispy fries. Tasty but can get them most places. Prices paid makes me kind of wonder where the money is going, as the atmosphere is… definitely lacking some comfort.

Definitely worth the visit if you're driving through. Bathrooms are in the back. My wife and I both got the signature burger (one normal and one 1/4 lb) without the pepperoni per other reviews. Extremely good meals which left us both satisfied. It was quiet for a weekend which was nice but quite a bit of flies were there. Maybe a bug zapper would be a good idea. Also please don't pack away the napkins at 6:50pm!

We got to try this for the first time today with my niece and her parents. For those unaware, Junkyard was featured on a Triple D episode where Guy Fieri ate here - it's literally on their building! We ordered the New Yorker Dog and the Alternator Burger, while my niece ordered The Cinder Block burger. Total wait time for food was about 8 minutes, and the service was exceptional. While the dog aesthetically looked delicious, it was actually a letdown in regards to the "bite" - there was no pop/pizazz and just felt like a mediocre Nathan's style dog. The bun truthfully was the best part of it as it was soft, and had cheese cooked into the bottom of the bun which was a nice touch. Similar to the dog, the bun on the hamburger was soft and buttery and really carried the hamburger. The hamburger was a solid 4/5 and would recommend - was extremely hot, fresh, and was even great later on as a leftover small snack. All in all, The Junkyard is a great establishment, the food is definitely solid and we intend to come back to try their pizza as seeing others with it made us want it. ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Was on my way home with my son, and we drove by this place. It was 4:45 on a weekday, and the place looked like it was open so we stopped to try it. The menu was great; very fun looking items. We ordered and was informed we would get our food to go, as they close in a few minutes. I am not sure why they close in the middle of rush hour, it would seem like staying open to 6 would make more sense, however I have not spent any time looking into why they close at 5, so I am sure they have obvious reasons. My son ordered a dog with a ton of stuff on it, and I ordered a pizza dog. I had another 30 minutes to drive, and these things are pretty impossible to eat in a car. I pretty much wrote mine off being any good after sitting for 30 minutes in a to go container, but to be honest, by the time I was ready to eat it. It was still delicious and the texture held together. I was pleasantly surprised. I am really looking forward to going back when we can eat the food on site without the travel time.

Awesome place. Long wait but it was Father's day. Went at 1pm which was the worst on Sunday. Next time will meet at noon or after 3 pm. Definitely worth it. Burgers are great & huge. Enough for 2 to share but we get our own so we can eat other half later. Wrecker was YUM & Big Block is so good. Brats & dogs kinda spendy cuz only get chips. Thanks for a great experience as always.

Loved this place, large portions, and very delicious the best pastrami I've ever had and also serve bottled beer. I'll definitely be going back!!

Great burgers!! There was 5 of us and we all thought it was great food and large portions. Those of you complaining about the price, well you could go to a chain burger joint and pay the same price for a prefab burger. My only complaint which didn't really make or break the place was the young lady who took our order. Zero and I mean zero personality. The other young lady who brought our food was pleasant and friendly. The wait was short and the restaurant was clean.

Love this place. We eat here frequently. The burgers are huge! Check their busy hours before you go. There have been a few times when we couldn't find any parking and had to skip it.

The fried cheese wasn't crispy. Got it on a burger. The burgers are huge. There are a lot of good ideas at this place and they're all served as an over priced annoying mess. I was hugely disappointed. Everything comes out as a slop mess. Maybe the fried cheese pizza is better? The burgers and dogs aren't worth the money. Fries are pretty good.

Junkyard dogs delivers big meaty and cheesy dogs. Lots of flavor, style, and calories! The decor of the place is totally on point and fun to look at. I tried the pizza dog and it takes a fork and knife to eat. My wife ordered the Kansas City dog and the onions on it were incredible.

I'm giving this place 2 stars. Overall appearance is pretty cool. The food however is nothing spectacular. I got the pizza dog and they didn't put the pizza sauce on it so it was pretty dry and super greasy. The chilli dog is made with can chilli so I find it to be a waste of money for something I can make at home. In all honesty I think they are over selling the fact that Guy ate there.. Not worth the price for little effort.

Great little burger joint, excellent taste. Halfway through the meal I started getting salted out, but will go back! Edit: just went back and had the DDD, fantastic! Make sure you have good cholesterol levels before committing 😉 Love it. Update: 5/28/2021 - Their french fries were the best I've tasted. Hot, crispy, great taste. Ordering from the outside area is a plus!

The kid who took my order was very rude and started off by telling me they close soon and seemed irritated we were there. I got home with my food because we ordered it to go and they didn't even put the stuff on my dog. It was supposed to have sour crout relish mustard and some other stuff , they forgot all of it. We even gave a decent tip. I used to love this place and it's gone down hill. We won't be coming here again.

Delicious food and great staff! We decided to eat somewhere new and outside of Eugene. This place is great, and the portions are huge. One burger could feed two people easily. Loved the outdoor seating, or indoors if one wanted to.

Junkyard lives up to its well deserved reputation as a legit stop for extreme burgers and hotdogs. Delicious and fresh ingredients make for a superb flavor experience. Portions are large so if you leave hungry it's your own fault. I had a basic bacon cheeseburger and my wife had the bratwurst. Both were amazing. Do yourself a favor and stop in. It is much more than just Triple D hype!

So glad I stopped by. We went to the U of O for a tour and to the Spring football game and stayed in Junction city. I did a Google map search for food and I am so glad I found this place. It’s like a barn/junkyard/garage. It is covered but open on one side with great heaters that we needed during the spring. There a small window you order from and they bring you your food. We ordered the Alternator Burger, a Chicago Dog, a Straight 6, a half order of fries with cheese and onions and a root beer float. Everything was amazing and the burgers were so huge we even had leftovers. I guess Guy Fieri ate here. I must have missed that episode. If you’re in the area you should give this place a try.

Average grease bomb burger with a great gimmick. Good service, a little bit of a wait, great staff and comfortable seating. Don't get me wrong, the beef inside the burgers is good. The huge burgers they serve are easy to split with another person and both be full. We ordered a straight 6 with no cheese (they are awesome and knowledgeable about dairy issues) and its a good straight up burger of a gynormouse size. I ordered the altinator burger and it was a lot of grease for me but good flavor. The other half ordered the triple D, wow!!! This burger is a mountain of cholesterol blowing ingredients and i do mean a mountain. It was good but very heavy and greasy, greasy, greasy!!! The fries are good and have a crispy batter on them. All in all.... We spent $53 on the burgers and fries. We will go again but not for a wile.

The Junkyard is an eclectic fun atmosphere. Went on a Sunday and it was mostly full. Outdoor/indoor seating available. Was a bit of a wait for the food; service was on the slow side. Food is good, but not exactly up to Guy Fieri's hype in my opinion.

I'm their customer since 2014, on the top of countless 115 miles one way trips, took so many co workers, out of town friends. Sadly to say food quality and serving size going down drastically.( I can count fries on my finger tip) Not to mention each visit pay more price for same items/order. On Extreme burger hardly any cheese, before it used to called " Cheese skirt " as per Guy Fieri form food network. On my this visit when I bring this sincere concern to the manager, she had blank look, almost like we don't need your business and we are already famous etc etc. I was fine if they haven't increase prices and reduce serving sizes, but definitely that not the case. Looks like No More driving 115 miles for less burger and less fries. Good luck making fool to new customers.

Awesome spot. Worth the drive. Killer atmosphere and super creative and good burgers. The hot dogs looked amazing too but I could only eat a half a burger (plus great fries and a root beer float)

Great selection of mouth watering huge burgers, big beats, and more. I ate the whole Wrecker burger, but that's because I was not able to stop haha! I loved the airplane on the roof, the old stuff used for decoration, and the old taxi used for signage and as a fountain. Next time, I'll make sure to browse the antique store when it's open. I do wish they had more beers on tap.

Came here tonight with my husband and a friend. Service was great, don’t let the outdoor seating scare you off on a chilly day they’ve got heaters and it stays warm. I also love the energy of this place and the people working seem to enjoy working here. Last but not least the food is on another level with the way they develop flavors and elevate classics. I recommend also trying their hot apple cider 10/10.

What a fun place! My son suggested this spot and we were glad we gave it a try. My sandwich was an unusual and delicious combination of flavors, everyone in the party enjoyed their meal. The atmosphere was laid back and the portions were big enough that teen boys were happy. Yum!
