It costs $2.00 per person to get in. It's pretty clean inside. You can purchase used tires here that are in decent shape. Outside, there is every kind of vehicle you can think of. Bring your tools and wear boots. You can purchase anything you find. You can also look online before you come to make sure they have the vehicle you need to find a part for.

- JJohn Wilson
I love this place just can't make the stars bigger I love the idea of recycling auto parts and saving our environment HOWEVER what I am giving this review about is auto sales and after on a year in the automotive field coming out of kindergarten would like to know the state of California law states that a seller is responsible for the vehicle being in compliance in other words no check engine lights no major oil leaks no missing catalytic converters etc .( yes by the first grade I was pretty educated ) besides who would want to buy a car that wasn't in compliance you can't pass a vehicle with as listed just a few I'm familiar with problems SO the law states THE SELLER IS RESPONSIBLE <<<THATS THE LAW ,NOW research has shown NO exceptions to the rule used car dealers new car dealers not even your grandma is exempt from this law and never in the law book have I seen PICNPULL or any other entities of recycles or dismantlers are . Note also Picnpull and their other interested parties are the ones doing the Clean air board buy backs and have been for years . Challenging review brought to your attention not to intimidate but to put in check ..

Place is a mess with no help from the employees. Nothing in order and parts get destroyed out there. You can literally watch people steal everything and walk out the front walk way. Seen 1 guy put parts in his tool bag and walk out.
- MMichael Carlson
Insanely expensive anymore. You can get new, reproduction, or parts from a place that pulls it for you and come out close to even. Pick n pull isn't worth the time and effort anymore. They savings isn't there.
- JJoe Kingery
Poor customer service. Wanted to buy wheels that had old tires on them. Was told they hold air so they were good. Amazing tires that hold air without valve stems. Lost a good customer.
- JJohnny Tau
Got all the parts we needed you can find what your looking for real easy with the printout they give you showing you were the cars are you need they have carts to haul your parts you have 30 days to return parts all right place to go if you like playing MECHANIC MIKE!!!!
- LLouis Delong
These guys do not pay top dollar for your car I got a quote one time for my 2000 Dodge pickup the vehicle still ran and drove the whole 9 yd and the best they offered me was 50 bucks $50 for running vehicles and that's the best they got so if you think you're going to make a quick cash come up forget it'50s all you get and if you buy a part and it don't work they only give me store credit they don't give you your cash back that's it that's another rip-off scam
- jjosh b
why are the parts double to triple the price of a brand new part, even when parts are broken and chipped but can still work, they don’t even let their employees work with you on the price. why would i want to take junked pieces off myself just for the reward of paying triple the price for a more screwed up looking piece then it would look if it were brand new
- SSteven Jones
I love this place personally. Prices are a bit high IMO, and they will nickel and dime you to death meaning they'll charge you for something you were totally unaware of buying and didn't need, so strip off anything and everything unless you nd it.
- DDoug Kulak
I confirmed that the vehicle was there on their website before heading down. I confirmed that the vehicle was there with the cashier before paying to enter the yard. Then, after spending 40 minutes looking for the vehicle, guess what, it's not there. They said whoops, they must have crushed it and not updated their system. No big deal, right? I asked for my entrance fee back. Oh heavens no. Nope. No refunds. "That's not how this works", they said. Thanks for wasting my time, Pick-n-Pull. Learn to keep your system up to date so you aren't just blatantly lying to your customers and then stealing their money. What a joke.
- MMike Beaver
I felt like a kid in a candy store! If they have your vehicle, it's so nice. I was able to go in and pull out all the bits and bobs that were broken on my car. They charge a few bucks for small things, but it is so convenient to find everything in one place! The website may not be up to date on stock, so it is a good idea to call and ask if they have vehicles that will be compatible with your ride.
- DDaniel Cline
Definitely not the worst place to get you some car parts if you're on a budget, but as far as selling them a vehicle of yours they're borderline fraudulent and misrepresenting themselves in their commercials. I know several people that have sold them a car even fairly newer models that just got totaled but still had a lot of good parts on them I've never seen them offer more than $70 so wear this $200 is coming from that they advertise they'll give you for your car is... well, let me put it this way. I wouldn't hold your breath!
- TTina Park
Make sure you have a mask when dealing with this place or customer might end up treated poorly. We went to sell them one of our cars and were not told we needed a mask to do business at the window. The gentleman there began helping us but said he needed someone else to come back from lunch to let him into the computer. After waiting we were asked about masks. I went to my car to check. We didn't have any so I went back to the window to let my husband know. He had to knock a couple of times to get someone's attention. When the guy finally answered we asked for our paperwork and licenses back. After saying we'd be back we were treated very rudely, even got the window slammed in our faces. I did open the window to try and exchange a smile and repeat we'd be back nicely and was cursed out. We were leaving to get masks based on their rules. Fortunately for us, we found a better place and offer for our car.
- WWilliam Robertz
They give you a map showing where the vehicles are that you are picking parts off of.... All the rows of cars are now numbered... No more walking around the whole yard 3 or 4 times with your tool box looking for what you need!!!! Awesome!!! That there saves you a lot time... Good prices too! I got an A/C / heater blower moter and a radio/cd player for my Camry both for under $30.00 +30 day warranty..
- EEtienne Lovejoy
It can be sort of frustrating going in and finding out how things work. Just understand a lot of customers aren't in the best mood. Just be cool. If you talk to these guys with some respect and decency they will take care of you. The job takes awhile.

I've used pick n pull many times over the years but my most recent visit leaves me wondering if I ever saved any money at all.you think because you have to pull the(USED) part yourself, and you had to DRIVE there(S &H) that you would be getting it at a much cheaper price. I recently needed two headlight housings and I went there and finally found two old and faded cloudy headlights.i asked them how much and he started $45. Each. Wow I found them online with free shipping both headlights and turn signals for $64 . And I was gasping when he said they could match it and maybe beat it by 5%.the cheaper ones were new and I didn't have to hunt them down or drive to pick n pull to get them.i will not be so fast to call pick n pull the better deal anymore
- AAri Isaoglu
Their pricing is unnecessarily HIGH, you can find any brand new part online cheaper than them. They promote their “Price match” deal but their deal is ONLY for certain websites, they don’t price match if you find a part on ebay or amazon. Also matching the price of a used(Maybe 20 years old) part with a brand new part doesn’t seem like a smart deal. They also offer %10 discount in the “Price match” deal, I wouldn’t want to pay only %10 less for a very old and used part than a brand new part on the market. Not to mention you have to take your own tools with you, go there and pull the part out from the car yourself.
- JJoshua
The people that work there are sneaky and rude. If you go prepare yourself on exactly what you're getting because they have little charges for everything and they overcharge big time. I would not go here again. I only went there because I had to
- JJ T
I had the unfortunate task of having to go here for some parts I was looking for on a late model vehicle. Not only is the staff extremely rude, but the prices are ridiculous and double taxes to boot! I think the entire pick n pull corporation has special classes for their staff because it seems I have never come across any friendly staff at any of the locations I've had to visit. Great job jacking up the prices, nickel and diming us to death, and hiring the worst of the worst for staff. Oh and when they lie to you too about being a third tax for the entry fee, I am disgusted.
- JJohn Harris
I was there in the middle of the day it's like being in the desert but it was fine because it was like hunting for treasure in the desert I simply went there for radiator hoses found what I needed wouldn't pay for them and that the desert it's always a good experience when I'm at Pick-n-Pull
- HHeather Long
Don't sell your car to them. Horrible customer service. I waited all day between the hours they told me pick up would occur and missed my daughters basketball game all for no-one to show up. And I needed the car out of my driveway before Thanksgiving. They tried to put all the blame on the towing company, but I called pick and pull twice concerned that I hadn't heard from anyone regarding a pickup time. They could've called their vendor and been proactive on behalf of their customer since I didn't have their vendors contact information. But nope. Now they want to know if I want to sit home for another 2 hours or reschedule. So unprofessional.

Started off really good. Called ahead received a very friendly, professional, knowledgeable guy who confirmed my make and year was onsite. Arrived and was met at the gate check in by another friendly, helpful, guy who took a look thru my toolbag then printed me out a slip where to look for my stuff in their well organized yard. Then big surprise! I found everything I needed! First time that's ever happened. I was in a very good mood walking up to checkout area and I opened my toolbag and started putting all my parts on the table. The guy in checkout eyed me kinda suspiciously? I had small parts (decklid latch assembly, visors, batt holddown , cig lighter, dome light) and they charged me 45 bucks. Which I thought was fair, but not a crazy good deal or anything but I was in a good mood and didn't care. Then he did what i think was a cheap shot. He looks in my bag and found a tiny fuse relay. He asked me, "Did they let you in with this?" I mean this sucker was maybe the size of my thumbnail. I remember having it in my bag from a troubleshooting job I did a month earlier and simply forgot it was in my bag. I replied, "yeah, that's mine sorry I guess your not supposed to bring stuff like that in your bag? He made a comment that kinda irked me you know? Something negative about his coworker who let me in without checking my bag correctly and bringing "car parts" in my toolbag He didn't outright call me a thief or anything but it just took my perfect junkyard experience and threw it in the trash. I drove home trying to just let it go. It's not a big deal. I'll come back to this business next time with a separate "parts bag" and double check my toolbag to make sure it only has tools in it, easily solved. But c'mon man is it just me? This experience seems petty and does not promote good customer service. I'm really rooting for them to do a little more training (it would take maybe an hour) and perhaps the reviews wouldn't be full of "the guy was a dick to me" they are so close to 5 stars otherwise. R.

Zero stars if i could. This review is not directed at any services of pick n pull (the actual business in redding ca) its directed at the 1-800 number you call to sell ur car/junk car which is picknpull in general. Worst process i ever dealt with in my life. I got a quote for our total truck $0, which im not complaining. What ticks me off is them wasting my time telling me they will come get it for free. I went through the whole BS of sending them pictures of the junk slip and receipt that the we got from dmv that junk fees were paid through their ridiculous email (that took forever for them to processs and their call reps dont even have access to). After all this time, they just keep telling me "oh, we didn't get the email yet we dont have access to it, call back at 9am we get all our emails then." Called back. "oh, someone didn't process your application correctly, let me resend it n call back in 2 hours." I called back, guess what? "Oh, its been denied let me have my supervisor resubmit and see what happens call back in 2 hours." Hey dummies!!! Do you want the junk car? Yes or No? Simple as that. PLEASE Dont waste anyone's time with your BS process. I advise whoever that reads this review Dont waste your time with this company, my advice is call out to other companies out there first which i will be doing. If im able i will attach a response to this review n update you guys. 7/20/20 update guys: i called viking auto and truck today within hours they set up tow n even gave us $65 for the truck. The truck is gone, no BS like what i got from picknpull.

This is a great place and rare that they let you pull your own part. People are leaving bad reviews for not having the car they need and the pricing. PEOPLE!!!! The inventory is online, the pricing is online and if all else fails, JUST CALL THEME!
- DDenise Murray
We brought our van in for recycling through the CA program. Pick n pull people were rude and irritated they had to deal with his! They’re the only place in Redding that deals with this CA program. There’s no where else to take the vehicle! I called for an appt and they said just come in any time before 4. We got here at 3:30 and they were so rude!!
- ddavid 38
If you're looking for used parts and you're on a budget look no further. Pick-n-Pull is the cheapest place in town for used parts granted. they don't have every single model. ...so Go to the window when you enter the building and ask them for your car and they'll show you what Ro it's in. And don't forget to bring your own tools . they don't Supply tools, and if it's a really heavy part bring a friend cuz you're on your own. but considering the savings you'll getting it's all worth it.
- LLarry Hale
Went to get a rim for a spare tire and the guy said I need to buy all 5 or I couldn't get any. I have purchased a lot of parts at pick and pull after today they will be my last choice. Who wants 5 rims to get 1 for a spare. Guy was an ass...
- AAnthony Barrera
Don't think a wrecking yard should charge 2 dollars a person to go into there yard. You have to take off the parts you need and the prices are not that good for used parts. If you return a part you don't get your money back but you get credit and have to pay another 2 dollars to get in there yard.

Facility was stocked with a decent Selection, staff was professional, Parking was easy, no wifi, Vehicles were organized and easy to locate using the website, I was actually quite impressed by being able to view the vehicles and vin numbers before stepping foot on the lot. Recommended.
