I'm a big fan of Pick-n-Pull in Rocklin for used auto parts. Their selection here isn’t as vast as their other yards – in fact, I think this is one of the smallest in the area, but that’s okay because I can use their easy online inventory search to see if the make and model of vehicle is there, so I don't waste trips. The staff is friendly and helpful too. My only wish is that their already-great prices were a bit lower, especially on parts for vehicles over 10 years old. But overall, Pick-n-Pull is my top choice for used parts thanks to the selection, convenient website, and service. It's worth shopping around a bit for the best deals on each part, but this is one of my go-to auto salvage yards.

Website says they are open until 6pm and that yard admissions end 30 minutes prior to that. I arrived at about 5:15pm and was told that I only have 15 minutes before they close. I mentioned what the website states and was told the same thing. If what the employee said is true, then the website needs to be updated to be accurate. I was looking for a very specific part from an uncommon vehicle and specifically planned to arrive with what i thought would be enough time to pull the part I needed, luckily someone had already mostly removed the part I needed so it only took about 10 minutes to finish removing it. Had this not been the case, it would have taken me longer and I would not have enough time because they were closing at 5:30pm instead of 6pm like the website says. That would have caused me to waste an hour and half of driving and gas money too. Update the website, or tell employees to not lie to customers about what time they close!

Tried to sell them my van, massive waste of time. Had a price agreed and the appointment scheduled for them to come pick up the van and tow it away. Sit and wait by my phone all morning, called them twice to find out where the tow truck is, got put on endless hold both times and the tow never showed up.

This place has really gone done hill since covid and they changed the e try fee to $3 now probably won't be back unless it the last resort amazon is cheaper now for the most part anyway

This is the worst pic n pull. They raised there prices and have a terrible selection. I bought an engine and had 30 days to bring the core. I brought the core and they said there bins were full and so they couldn’t take it. I could’ve have easily fit it in the bin if I moved things around. They would not give an extension on the 30 days and so I had no option to get my core money. Edward needs fired as he acted very unprofessionally and failed to use any common sense. They are just trying to scam you as they charge a core charge and then don’t refund your money. Bring your business somewhere else. Thank me Later 😊

Staff was very helpful and friendly. Good selection of vehicles and prices were very reasonable. Lot is flat and fairly large. A good amount of room n the aisles to work.

Pulled up at 434 dude ran over to chain the entrance shut. I told the guy I just had to pull a couple brackets off of a vehicle right by the entrance. 5 minutes TOPS! Wouldn’t let me in. Terrible customer service.
- MMatthew Wheeler
They are only about 10-20% discount from brand new items. HUGE Scam ! The manager there doesn’t seem to care he’s ripping people off.

Great prices and we got free bottles of COLD water!! We went on a day it was over 100° and they didn't make us BUY water like some of the others do. Thanks guys and we'll be back!
- SSean John
Not to bad even hello they didn't have what I was looking for that other s*** to take apart
- JJuan Pardo Martinez
Ridiculous! The price for fuses and relays are over priced for an object that may or may not work. The price for these select items on Amazon is much more affordable than that in this store. Do not waste your time coming to this store trying to get affordable car parts because they are not.

I go looking for a steel rim for my truck for a spare, strike 1, no rims without tires much less 17" rims. No big deal just figure out another avenue. Young guy was helpful, understanding and patient so thank you. I go back for a parking brake release handle. I find 2 that fit, so I'm thinking one major project done, absolutely not! Older guy was a complete moron with an attitude! Couldn't find the part price for 1 ft section of release cable and tried to charge me $20 for the wrong part, normally maybe $5 for this section at pick n pull. I asked him why I would pay $20 for a used part when I could get the new one for $27. He said that's all he could find for price. Strike 2! $20 was for the ENTIRE parking brake cable assembly, front to back of the vehicle! This guy had no clue what he was doing and cost that yard a customer. I told him he could keep the part if he trying to charge me $20 for the wrong part to begin with, and gives me attitude on top of it. Strike 3! Time for a different job that tolerates your stupidity! Dorman has that part for $27 new, I'm not stupid! I could've walked out with it and not said anything but I was honest and I got that. Goodbye pick n pull Rocklin! Hire more knowledgeable and courteous employees!

I got 4 different sets of wheels tires and not one of them fit! But they did allow me to keep trading them for no charge! (Went through 4 sets)Until the last set! After that I was stuck with a set that didn't work for me, that cost over $200. So I'll give them a meh 3 stars. They really need to check their parts lists a lot closer!

Most prices are listed online and pretty reasonable. They try to keep several of the more common vehicles to pick from. You should always check the inventory online first. Don't call to double check their inventory unless the site only shows one or you need a specific engine size or model... otherwise you may sit on hold all day. They can pull up a list showing the range of years that should match/ fit your vehicle. They will also provide you with a printout of said vehicles with yard locations. Make sure to bring your own tools, they do not loan or sell tools at all. I've found tools left behind before and if you are missing (or forgot) something basic -if it's busy enough- someone in the yard is usually nice enough to help... if they can. Also if you do bring your own part(s)with you so you know you're getting the right part before you pull it (or pay for it) make sure they MARK it for you before you take it out to the yard. Good luck and happy Hunting!!!

So the customer service was great. She was a great helper finding my parts for me before I went out onto the field. I will keep on coming back to this Pick-n-Pull for my Toyota and my Subaru. This place has excellent customer service and Freewater too. Can't get better than that😁.

When I showed up that day for a car part, I didn't realize I would be shamed for the parent I had been. While waiting, the lady at the counter asked, "Where is your son?" I stated I was waiting for him as he was getting off work. Here is where she bestowed upon me her parental advice. "My dad would make me get the part myself." Leering from her Pick and Pull cage, she looked at me with disgust and disappointment. I've raised 4 kids, and I'm sure I've made mistakes. However, I appreciated the pick and pull ladies' helpful observation. The fact that my son, who works full time and attends college, didn't impress her in the least. It would later be revealed that our trip that day would be futile. The person who she needed to lift the car wasn't there. If only she had told us earlier, I wouldn't have made the long trip after work. Considering her helpful advice and respect for customers, she is exactly where she deserves to be... the Pick and Pull.

I was told by 2 different employees that they accepted aluminum campers, but they wouldn't accept it after I paid to haul it there. This led to a huge issue that they refused to help resolve, which cost a lot of extra money and time. DON'T GO HERE

I have been to other pull your own parts auto yards in my day and this one was one of the cleaner of them. The entry fee was very reasonable and there policies were clearly displayed or explained. Their lot was full and they had a wide variety of vehicles to choose from. I would definitely go to this establishment again.
- GGreg Partell
They had a fair selection of the vehicle I was interested in. I'm adding that the staff has it together! Always helping and fair. Other pic n pull locations aren't quite as neat and clean. Their lot is orderly. They print out a ticket showing locations of the type of vehicle you're interested in. Great placr

I was there just today, June 28th 2017, and it is fortunately it is well organized. Not only the cars seem to be fairly updated and well stocked to part, the cars are placed in order per map. The staff was polite, professional, and knowledgeable. I didn't come fully prepared as I left out some tools, but they were able to loan me the tools I needed. I will be coming back as they have my vehicle types to part
- JJeremy Treinen
This small location would get 2-3 stars if based solely on the quantity and selection of cars but it's a very convenient location near the freeway, I've never had issues with parking and the staff I've dealt with have been friendly. Pricing, policies, etc are standard Pick n Pull.

let's just say i work on a few cars, without picknpull i would be less than employed. the past week's sale was great, i bought a tailight for a persons car, $10.00 + tax. the same lite was $150.00 and not to be found within 250 miles of their home. when they stayed open as an "essential business" me and thousands other people were still able to buy dinner for our families. my sincerest thanks to the employees of picknpull

I wish this PnP was closer to me, because all their inventory is just fantastic and the staff is super cool. Stopped here just to check out a the 89 Nissan Pulsar NX that my friend mentioned was here. The for sale inventory of cars all seem to be in very good condition and great deals too.
- KKurt Willmon
It's okay. I don't like having to pay to get in then find out the cars are already stripped of the part I'm looking for. You can go to another Pick N Pull the same day without paying again but, that's no consolation if they don't have the part either. Even though you have to find and remove parts yourself, they cost as much or more than the same used parts on eBay. Although it's good that they provide a list cars with interchangeable parts and their locations in the yard, the list isn't always correct and, some cars are in the wrong row or, not there at all.
- MMark Garcia
They never called to follow up with me, I took the day off (which in the military is not easy) and they were a no show, and they couldn't even give me an estimated hour show time, instead they simply told me "we don't do estimations, we will let you know when we are on our way between 8am-12pm." Very dissatisfied, I will be putting these guys on the watch list for my base to avoid them wasting the time and money of any other Airman.

$2 to get in. No wait on a Wednesday at 11:30. The first Camry I looked at had the lighting parts I needed. A frosted headlight cluster and turn signal housing cost $60. The customer lot was quite full, but the parts lot didn't seem very busy.
- RRay Handy
Prices are a bit high, missing the ol' days when cars were stacked and you could haggle on pricing. But this location is clean and well organized, ROW52 app makes finding vehicles you are looking for a much easier process
- RRoyce Hays
We sold an old car to them. Process was easy. Its a no frills experience. I'm not too sure on how they determine prices to buy for but I am not complaining as I no longer have an extra vehicle taking up space at my house.

Can't say enough about the customer service at the Rocklin, CA location. Always super friendly, always eager to help and answer questions, and a huge shout out to SARAH... YOU TOTALLY ROCK!!! THANK YOU FOR GOING ABOVE AND BEYOND FOR ME WITH MY TRANSMISSION NIGHTMARE!!! YOU SHOULD GET A RAISE AND MANAGEMENT POSITION, FOR SURE!!! You definitely have my vote! I wish all locations had the customer service that the Rocklin store has!!! Keep up the great work!!!
- BBen Newman
Smaller location then the elk grove pick and pull. They told me that the part I needed was not in stock but I chose to look anyway and found it. If you know what you are looking for, you are much better equipped to use self dismantling yards. Prices were good and the staff was very friendly.
