Wont pick up your trash if the lid is even one inch open. Must be a perfect human to use their services or else they do not care

It used to be easy to pay my bill or call and ask questions. Not anymore, Republic made online bill paying go from a couple clicks to a major hassle. Republic is going to have to send me a paper bill and wait for a check from now on .That said, the pick ups are on time and the local workers do a great job, so they get the 4 stars, not their new corporate owners.

This company acts like it has a monopoly over you. Oh wait they do. I wish there was another service available. The bats in the office are very rude and customer service has gone out the door here. Update: I've upped their stars because I've had no problems for the last few years, but will drop back down again if service declines.

We just moved to the area and have had a wonderful experience with this service so far. When I have called to ask questions, Kelsey has been very helpful at answering them. Thank you all for the excellent service!

They certainly don't accommodate the customer. It is their way or the highway. The rules have changed on what recycle will pick up. I have been compliant. But the did not pick up my recycle can because it contained a small amount of junk mail that got put in accidently with the newspaper. The office told me there should have been a paper hanging note on the side of the can informing me of why they did not pick it up. There was no hanging note. They told me the wind must of blew it off. They absolutely refuse to send anyone out to come get it if you blow it. Now I have to wait another 2 weeks before recycle pick up. I think they need competition. Then you would see things change.

Due to high winds, garbage cans are dumped over. If they are dumped over, it will not be picked up. If it is moved 3 ft away from the rd against something to keep 70mph winds from blowing it over, they wont pick it up. If you get this service, your garbage wont get picked up.When I called I got this answer ''We've never received a complaint about this before in your area''....Are you kidding me? So its' going to take multiple complaints before something happens? One complaint isnt enough? Next time, I'll video tape it and post that up here. Maybe then you'll listen.After explaining the situation AGAIN (because they must not have understood the first time) they offered to pick any extra bags of trash I had the next time the service was to arrive. So in the mean time, I got to store bags of trash either in my house or on the street where animals could get at them until they decide to pick it up.It doesnt take much to see when things like wind are to cause for trash cans being moved. It also takes little effort to walk that 3 extra feet to do your job. If you have people that arent doing their job, give the job to someone who wants it.It feels and looks like they can get away with whatever they want simply because they're the only trash service in town so unfortunately these reviews mean little. They'll get your business regardless of being bad at it.

Miss the old owners. Republic services has horrible customer service. no longer a customer.

We've been dealing with left behind recycling for the whole summer. Firstly, i accidentally put a large water jug in there and they left it. The next pickup they left it again and said there was another big water jug inside. After 1-1/2 months with recycling in our driveway i took it to a recycling dump. That next two weeks they refused to take it again which lead us to 2 months of accumulated recycling because of laziness. They need a competitor to come in and ruin their business so things can be done properly.

Their recycling policy is a crime against the planet. Their drivers speed past our home regularly in a 25 mph zone. Don't even think about asking for a new trash bin. They have a "We do what we like" business mentality.

Second Time in a row they didn't pick up my trash! My trash can sets with a bunch of cans! If they don't like my can then leave a note on it and I will take care of the issue! The young lady on the phone said she would talk to the driver and he doesn't pick it up again! Now I have a whole month of trash sitting here waiting for pick up! !!
