I believe Carl is the weight master at the Oakland location and I have to say that he and his staff are the best and I continue to frequent their business because of them. I scrap maybe 5 to 10 a year and when I do Carl is sure to greet me with a smile and I always remembers my name. Also he takes the time to teach me about the different types of metal how they're graded and what they look for. So by teaching me I have my materials separated before even getting in line which in turn gets me in and out even faster. Never would have thought I’d write a review of a scrap metal place as I’ve never been to one & frankly, thought I would be kind of intimidated. The service and care here, by Carl, was outstanding. My father was an artist printmaker & I had a lot of old metal plates to scrap. Carl was so helpful in explaining how it worked and I learned a lot about different kinds of metals. Fascinating.
