They do not pay top dollar and only pay half of the California AVERAGE rate. And for staff, Carlos was of no real help (my first and only time there) but only barked out what I was doing wrong. I would recommend finding another place to sell scrap metals.

They dont know what type of copper is what. They rip u off by giving u the lower price for dirty copper even if u have the better copper that is more money per pound.

Place is OK been there for years as wulfs recycling. Not sure those scales are still calibrated after 20 years of operation but I'm sure Weights and Measures has checked them

Since all the recycling places in 29 palms are closed, we have been taking our recycle items here. It’s quite a drive coming from wonder valley but no complaints about Venture recycling center. Plus, you can wait inside your car while other people are loading their recycling items. Once they’re done, they take off with their vehicle and you just pull in and park. They’re prices are reasonable, I don’t quite remember the total price but I’m always satisfied when I receive the money. It helps out when you really need the money.
